Almost everyone knows that the main keys to health and longevity are: ⁣

◾ Zone-2 cardio + interval training⁣
◾ Strength training to build muscle mass and bone density⁣
◾ A diet filled with high-quality foods in the right portions⁣
◾ Consistently getting at least 7 hours of good sleep⁣
◾ Building a community of supportive people around you⁣
◾ Learning how to effectively manage the stress of life⁣

While some new research coming out is interesting, most of it just affirms that these things work instead of discovering something new⁣

We've known that cardio promotes health and longevity for 40 years⁣

We've known that lifting helps prevent loss of muscle mass and strength for decades⁣

We've known that a wide variety of diets work, but finding one that is the most sustainable is what really matters⁣

That's why the first place I start when I work with people isn't to create an overly complicated training or diet program⁣

I look at which fundamentals of health they're missing and figure out a plan I know they can follow—one that they enjoy MOST of the time. One that doesn't leave them feeling spread too thin or mentally drained⁣

It's simplicity that leads to consistency, NOT complexity⁣

If you're struggling to see the results you want, don't get lost in the details of complicated training programs, diets, or anything else⁣

The simplest strategies to help you consistently do the thiings you know you need to do are generally the right answer⁣

"From the information that has been released from the Queensland Health Directive (No. 21), it has been determined that all practitioners are eligible to continue to practice. last night the Queensland government has announced the closure of Remedial Massage services until the Corona outbreak is brought under control. Dear Green Room Patients,
I hope this post finds you well and that you have been able to find some moments of stillness in this time of unrest.
As you will be aware, the current containment strategy for the newest Coronavirus requires everyone with acute respiratory symptoms, especially fever with cough or sore throat to refrain from entering public places. In line with this, I’m asking that everyone with acute flu like symptoms to please reschedule their appointment until they have fully recovered and resumed normal daily activities.
Please get your information about the situation from official sources such as https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert/what-you-need-to-know-about-coronavirus-covid-19 rather than mainstream media that seeks to spread uncertainty in the community.
Remember that simple practices like washing your hands thoroughly in soap and water after being in public places and focusing on good nutrition, quality sleep and remaining calm are your best allies at present.
