Todays news headline was ~ A staggering 95% of toddlers are not eating enough fruit and vegetables because they are addicted to junk food. Melbourne researchers say the bad habits kick in once children reach 18 months old with too many biscuits, cakes, lollies and chips to blame. Health experts say parents need to lead by example with their own choices. 🙇‍♀️ I’m a big believer in this food philosophy, if we don’t eat the rainbow then why would our mini’s who mimic everything we do, who learn the way to live from us eat the rainbow? As parents we not only need to provide nutritious food but lead by example and consume nutritious food, those little eyes and ears are always watching and listening! Lily eats everything I eat, sometimes just in a different layout. We talk about what the foods will do in her body, how they will give her energy or help her grow tall, make her hair long like mummy’s, help her feel full so she can sleep all night or even help her to poo - She loves it! Do we still eat hot chips or have an ice cream every now and then.. absolutely! And I don’t shame those foods either, I just don’t keep junk food in the house so there is no option for junk food 🤷🏼‍♀️ Make our diets and our little ones diets predominately REAL WHOLEFOOD & we will have a healthy, happy generation! 💘

Coconut jam drops - 6 simple ingredients 👌🏻

½ cup coconut flour
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ cup melted organic salted butter
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla bean powder
Organic Jam
Instructions - mix all ingredients together, try not to eat too much batter before you bake it - it’s delicious!! Round the mixture into biscuit size and add a well for the jam.
Pop in the oven on 180 for 15mins or until your desired biscuit texture
Enjoy!

Rainbow tofu stir fry with a miso & tahini sauce 👌🏻
Sauce:
3 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp minced ginger
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2/2 tbsp roasted sesame oil
1 tbsp raw honey
2 tbsp boiling water
Chilli powder to taste
Shake well.

Stir fry tofu and mushrooms together first in oil and tamari. Add vegetables - red cabbage, carrot, snow peas, spinach. Stir fry and then add the sauce through too. While cooking make up soba noodles to directions on the packet.
Serve noodles, stir fry and uncooked cucumber in a bowl.
Enjoy!

Salmon & Vegetable Fried Rice 🍚 1. Cook Salmon fillets in the oven with a light coating of coconut oil 2. Cook Rice in saucepan 3. Chop up organic broccolini florets & stems, leaving no waste & cook in saucepan with a splash of water & frozen peas 4. Add cooked Rice & Salmon to saucepan & Tamari to add flavour, stirring continuously 5. make a well in the saucepan & add a egg, once cooked through fold it through the rest of the meal 6. Serve with wild brews fermented Kimchi hot sauce & more Tamari.
