Manly Waters Private Hospital is a 58 bed acute care rehabilitation, medical and
palliative care hospital overlooking beautiful Manly Cove. Working within the Macquarie Health Corporate vision, Manly Waters Private aims to be a well recognised and respected provider of comprehensive and integrated allied health, nursing and medical services, with particular emphasis on Aged Care and Rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide a collaborative, evidence based, high quality service which focuses on achieving maximal functional independence, mobility and well-being of our patients in both the inpatient and day rehab setting. At all times the patient (and if appropriate, their significant others) is the centre of and vital to the identification and evaluation of goals and programs. Each staff member is highly skilled and carefully selected to ensure that we provide the best care available

We accept all health funds, DVA, TCP, WC and self funded patients. OUR FACILITY:

Our Story

Manly Waters is the answer to all your inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation needs! Manly Waters Private Hospital provides individually tailored, fast, medium and slow stream rehabilitation and caters for a wide range of ages and conditions.

Are you concerned about Health Fund gaps? We thought you would be. Well there are no daily gaps at Manly Waters. A Rehabilitation Specialist will oversee your progress and on completion of the program your GP will be provided with the outcome details. Other members of the team may include: rehabilitation nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, social workers and dietitians. What conditions do we treat? Inpatient and outpatient programmes: Orthopaedic post-surgical and conservative management for all orthopaedic conditions, general reconditioning, musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, oncology and falls prevention. Our latest cardiac programmes are answering a great need in the community:

A specialised cardiac phase 2 Day Rehabilitation plus a follow on phase 3 heart wellness programme . These programmes are run by a specialised team, including Cardiac Specialised Registered Nurse, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian and Occupational Therapist and is linked to the major surrounding hospitals. We will of course liaise with your Cardiologist and GP

Manly Waters was the first hospital in Australia to implement the PD Warrior for Parkinson’s disease programme. The programme is neuroactive and the exercises help drive the brain to re-wire and protect itself. The group energy is very inspiring and patients are encouraged to bring a buddy along and exercises can be done at home.
