We are fully focused on our expanded service delivery at the farm, so Lake High - Great Victorian Walk for Autism will not happen in 2026. We plan for it to be back bigger and better in 2027.

Meet Renee.

You’ll notice her radiant smile first, but then it doesn’t take long to realise how much more there is to impress.
Renee came to Mansfield Autism almost 5 years ago, having previously worked in hospitality and holding the head barista position at Mansfield Produce Store.

She commenced work as a support worker for skill building stays and in no time at all showed her potential and interest. She’s now one of the supervisors and continues to work closely with our clients.

Renee explains that the most rewarding part of working for Mansfield Autism is connecting with the clients and families, to help them achieve their goals for when they return home.
“The deep appreciation from the parents and the gains the children make are really important from a job satisfaction perspective,” she said.
The challenges exist and Renee highlights the importance and time involved in ensuring her team are across relevant information and resources relating to all new kids coming on short skill building stays.

Renee has been in Mansfield for about 12 years. She loves photography, art, dance, travelling and cooking. She’s currently completing her Certificate 3 in Disability and Aged Care and has developed a broad range of management and client facing skills while with Mansfield Autism.

Our farm has been featured in Australian Geographic: "On a purpose-built farm in Victoria’s High Country, families find a place of therapy and respite." We especially love the beautiful pictures!

On a purpose-built farm in Victoria’s High Country, families dealing with autism find a place of therapy and respite.
