Its really important to love the space your in.
I just love working in my home studio. I love the warm energy & I attribute that to all the work that happens in my space.
If you think about it, we spend so much time working so it’s really important that our work space feels good.
I’ve made minor changes to the aesthetics in the studio and have always tried to create an inviting bright space to work in.
Why you ask?
Isn’t it all about the client?
Well I think it’s about both.
Ive learnt If I feel off it’s likely I will transfer the yucky energy onto my client and we can’t have that.
Every morning I have created a ritual to help calm my mind as I prepare for the day. I prepare the oil, turn on the lamps, put on the calming music & crank up all the oil defusers with the delicious aroma of lemon grass fragrance.
This time is quiet, it’s slow & intentional.
I then leave to get started on my morning mama duties and by the time I return, the room is ready and so am I. That’s how magic is created when you’re on my table. The space is cleared, intentions are set for the day and the rest is up to you to come in open.
Have you thought about the spaces you occupy? I’m not talking about expensive furnishings, it’s more about how your space makes you feel.
Do you feel calm, chaotic or maybe a little irritable when spending long periods of time in these rooms ? Why is that?
Whether it’s your home or your office or both, it’s important for your mental state.
If a room can evoke feelings of calmness then the same can be said about chaos & clutter in a space.
Until I see you in the studio I look forward to bringing more calm & clarity in your next session 🙏🏻
