CrossFix Physiotherapie Providing quality Physiotherapy for EVERYBODY to enhance performance and overall wellbeing. Katja began working as a Physiotherapist in Switzerland in 1995.

After moving to Cairns in 2011. She passed all her required Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) exams in order to continue with her career in Australia. She treats all types of injuries, from long standing chronic conditions to sports injuries and is passionate about teaching her clients how to maintain or improve their heath. Having played sport all her life and having first-hand experience with injuries herself, she understands how frustrating it can be when constantly dealing with the same or new injuries over an extended period. She still enjoys active lifestyle walking her dog, CrossFit, yoga and skiing when she goes back Switzerland. Katja believes that the body has the ability to repair itself, no matter what age, if we support it and live a healthy lifestyle. She believes in ongoing professional development and has continued training & learning new techniques throughout her career. Recently she has expanded her skills with techniques not so common in Physiotherapy and found a missing link to the neuro-muscular system. Qualifications:
