Every three months our Pastoral Care Team invites families and friends of those who lost their loved ones to pray for them and share their memories over a cuppa. The last gathering took place on Anzac Day. Thank you to those who came, both from the aged care and retirement village. This time we remembered our former employee, Bronia Flak. The central feature of our chapel during May is the shrine of Mary. Traditionally, Polish families gather around statues and images of Mary to sing the Litany of Loreto, an occasion known as “Majówka.” Thank you to our Sisters from the Pastoral Care Team for engaging our residents in this beautiful tradition.
