🌿 Detours, Laughter & Divine Timing 🌿

Sometimes the universe sends you on the most unexpected little journeys .. ✨

A few years back, I did a quick day trip down to Maclean, NSW - not for the scenery, not for a planned adventure, but because my sister decided to take Mum’s car for a “road trip” .. and the car decided otherwise. 😅🚗✨

So off we went, little Miss in tow, to pick it up. And on the way home, we made a spontaneous stop at the Big Prawn - a giant, quirky reminder that life doesn’t always need to be serious to be meaningful.

Standing there with my sister taking the photo & my daughter, sharing giggles under that huge prawn, I was reminded how spirit often works:
✨ turning inconveniences into memories
✨ turning detours into joy
✨ turning ordinary moments into moments that stay in your heart

It wasn’t about the car. It wasn’t even about the destination. It was about the laughter, the connection &
the gentle nudge from the universe saying, “Slow down. Enjoy this. These are the moments you’ll treasure.”

May this be a gentle reminder: Sometimes the smallest, most unexpected moments bring the biggest shifts in the heart with joy.

I am grateful for those soul-aligned detours that guide us right where we’re meant to be. 🧡🦐✨

✨ Bee Kind: A Sweet Reminder from Spirit ✨

This morning, as I paused by the mock orange bush, a golden bee floated in .. gently gathering nectar beneath the morning sun. I smiled, thinking of my daughter’s beautiful teachers & their loving reminder to always, “Bee Kind.”

In that moment, I remembered kindness has its own vibration - a sacred exchange between hearts, just as the bee & the flower give to one another.

Spiritually, bees often appear as messengers of community, purpose & divine alignment. They remind us that when we follow the rhythm of our heart & work with love, we attract abundance & sweet rewards. They’re a gentle nudge to stay connected, grounded & open to the magic of creation. 🍯✨

So, this is your sign too. May we all move through our days like that little bee - spreading sweetness, light & gentle magic wherever we go.

This New Moon speaks about truth, that no longer stay’s unspoken & this one is the last cycle for 2025! And we’re going out on a bang!

✨ 7 More Days at The Soul Nook in 2025! ✨

As I count down the final week of this beautiful year at The Soul Nook, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 💖

To you all - every single one of my followers, clients & dear friends who’ve shared their time & energy with me this year – thank you. You have made 2025 incredibly special.

A special thank you to the beautiful souls who cross my path on my days here – whether it’s just to say hello or share a coffee – those moments are felt more deeply than words can express. ✨

This week marks my last tarot reading sessions for 2025 at The Soul Nook – Friday 19th & Saturday 20th & there’s still space if you’d like a session. 🌿

I’ll also be wrapping up in the boutique & café on Monday 22nd (my final shift) for our special Kids Fun Day – messy play, magic & plenty of smiles! ✨ … oh wait, I still have this week’s shifts to get through! 🤣

At the end of January 2026, I’ll be celebrating five years as a facilitator at The Soul Nook – five years of readings, growth, laughter, tears & soul-deep conversations. A milestone worth celebrating with so much gratitude. 🙏

There’s more magic coming too .. my Tarot Card Workshop will be announced in the new year with date & time revealed. Yes – there’s a waitlist, and you lovely souls will absolutely be called. 🔮✨

I trust that what’s meant to find us will come with love & an open heart. And it has for me .. there’s even more magic for 2026! I’ve been offered additional space & days down in the Scenic Rim – at The Country Soul Collective in Kalbar with Sharon & another little spot in the Scenic Rim (details coming soon 😏) - which means I’ll be returning to see all my wonderful followers & clients from Kalbar, Boonah, Aratula, Cunningham, Fassifern Valley & surrounding areas. I’m so excited to come back out!

💙 Twelve Months of Lessons, Love & Legacy

Twelve months ago, I stood on the shores of Pauanui, New Zealand - a place my dad held close to his heart. With my uncles & aunties beside me, we returned to one of his favourite surfing spots to honour him in our own quiet way. The pōhutukawa was in bloom that day - its bright red flowers was a glowing reminder of remembrance, guidance & the bridge between the worlds (Māori Tradition).

My father’s wisdom has shaped so much of who I am. He taught me to lead with kindness even when the world becomes heavy, as one his favourite quotes was, “you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar,” & that life is lighter when you can laugh, even if it’s just signing off with a “cheers, big ears!”

But, his strongest belief was simple:
Take the jump.
Just do it.
Don’t hold back.
If it brings you joy & happiness in what you want to do & you’re not hurting anyone else, that’s all it matters.
Just make the decision.
Who cares what other people think.
You be the judge of your own life - no one else.
You’ve got this.
And, I believe you.

And woven through it all was his deepest lesson:
Honour where you come from.
He was a proud New Zealander, unapologetic of his roots, his birthplace, his heritage & yes - he loved a good sheep joke. That pride & authenticity became a compass in my life too.

Returning to New Zealand this time & standing where he once stood reminded me of his greatest lesson of all: stay true to your roots, trust the unseen by taking the jump & that life rewards the brave with love & support.

Pauanui will always carry his spirit & now, a piece of me too. Every time I see a pōhutukawa in bloom, I am reminded:
Life is a circle,
Love is eternal,
Laughter is medicine,
Conversation is healing,
Connection is sacred,
And the souls we cherish remain with us, always. ✨
