Are you or someone you care about affected by cancer?
The Cancer Council WA Life Now Program invites you to take part in their free, supportive cancer care course. Mindfulness practices encourage individuals to experience the present moment in a non-judgemental way, to counter the effects of stressors relating to the cancer diagnosis. Research shows that stress management programs may reduce anxiety and improve mood, improve quality of life, alleviate sleep problems and provide some pain relief.
Join a 2 hour class held each week for 8 weeks at the Margaret River Community Centre starting 11th May. Registrations essential.
To apply, visit cancerwa.asn.au and view the Event Calendar or call 13 11 20.
