✨ Guided Sound Meditation with Kirsten ✨

If you’re longing for a gentle moment to slow down, soften, and reconnect, Kirsten is offering a beautiful guided sound meditation on Friday, 20 March from 6:00 - 7:00pm in our Margaret River studio.

This one-hour journey supports the nervous system, encourages emotional regulation, and creates a space where you can simply pause - whether you’re completely new to sound or already familiar with its quiet power.

Afterwards, you’re welcome to stay for a cup of tea and ease gently back into your evening.

What qualifies someone to offer sound work? 🤔

As sound work becomes more visible online, it feels important to pause and ask gentle, thoughtful questions about training and experience. Personal history with sound, musical skill, and intuition can all be meaningful foundations - but professional sound practice also asks for structured education, supervision, and clear standards.

A well-trained practitioner will usually have no hesitation explaining where and how they trained, and what informs their approach. This isn’t about comparison - it’s about safety, responsibility, and respect for the people we support.

Curiosity isn’t criticism. It’s care.

Sound Massage Level I is a beautiful introduction to this work - a gentle two-day immersion where we slow down, listen, and experience how sound supports the body and nervous system in a soft, steady way. You’ll learn the foundational Peter Hess® sequences, spend time giving and receiving Sound Massage, and feel how these instruments meet the body with resonance rather than force.

Our next training in Perth will be held at the beautiful Annasha Day Spa Retreat on Sunday 22nd + Monday 23rd March 2026, from 9:30am–5:30pm each day.

Authentic Sound vs The Hype 🎶

In a world full of quick promises, sound work is sometimes presented as a shortcut - dramatic effects, instant change, louder and faster. But true sound work has never been about performance. It’s about depth, nuance, and supporting the nervous system in a way that feels safe and steady.

Trained practitioners know that the body responds best to gentle, coherent vibration. When sound is offered with presence and care, something softens. The system begins to regulate, and the real shift happens quietly - not through hype, but through listening 🙏

Authentic sound invites relationship… with the moment, with the breath, and with yourself.
Less truly can be more.
