Recently, a couple shared a cheeky inside joke in their vows that instantly relaxed the whole room. These unscripted smiles are why I always write ceremonies that feel authentic—not stiff, not generic, just beautifully you. When a ceremony sounds like the couple, the whole day feels lighter.

A ceremony doesn’t have to be formal or stiff. When couples choose readings, vows, and moments that genuinely mean something to them, the whole room feels at ease. My job is to guide you through the options and shape a script that feels effortless.

No two couples tell their story the same—so why should their ceremony sound the same?

One of my favourite moments as a celebrant is sitting down with a couple and hearing how it all began—whether it was a brave first message, an awkward first date, or that moment they both just knew. I handwrite every ceremony from scratch, weaving these little details into something meaningful, relaxed, and unmistakably them.
