I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Welcome to 2026 at The Family Care Chiropractic Centre!! I am back in the practice today with a busy afternoon, but still space Wed and Thu this week to get your post holiday adjustments and checks.

Merry Christmas! 🎄 See you next year! Practice is closed until 5 Jan 2026. Wishing you all a happy holiday season and that 2026 is an amazing year 😃. Online bookings are open for the new year.

For the first time, in a very long time, I will be closed between Christmas and the New Year. I will use this time to connect with family and friends and take a break from practice to allow myself to recharge and serve you better.

On that note...
🎄Emergency appointments will be available on request and incur a $30 call out fee in addition to the regular fees. This will be in effect from 25 Dec to 4 Jan.
👩‍💻Online booking for Wed the 24th is NOT available, but are by request only. Simply send an SMS to 0485 971 489. No additional call out fee for this day.

Hey everyone, just off for the rest of the week battling the margs bug that's floating around. What are some cool natural defences our bodies produce?

1) The boogies! This is a sign your mighty immune system is doing its job. This stuff helps get the bad bugs out. So cough it up and blow it out.

2) Fever! Your body makes itself nice and hot as those bad bugs can't live in that heat. Nature's exterminator. So while it is uncomfortable, it is handy! Watch for young children however as the quick spike (note speed not number) can cause seizures. If this happens (or if worried at all, trust those instincts) then head to ED.

3) Fatigue! Your body is busy doing some serious bug blasting. It needs energy so save it by resting and sleeping. Let it work!
