Time waits for no one! You need space as time to reset your nervous system.

Before you can lead others into an uncertain future, you need to reground yourself with compassion.

As a therapist Anne does this weekly with hundreds of individuals and the insight she has into leadership and culture is profound.

Have you ever endured a season where, as a leader, you could not reframe the weight of the responsibility?

Across one decade, leaders have been asked to navigate what no previous generation has faced simultaneously — a global pandemic that dismantled every assumption about stability, a moral reckoning that demanded courage in the face of institutional fracture, the trauma of terrorism and war, the psychological impact of public life with bullying online through social media’s always-on scrutiny, and the disruption of artificial intelligence rewriting the rules of human work and value.

Integrity lives in the harmony between external practice and internal peace. A useful reflection point is this: How am I experiencing my leadership right now — not just what am I achieving? Two people perform the same task, but what energy do they bring? One leader may bring hurry and depletion. Another brings grounded presence.

Taking time out to reflect and imagine appears to shape the impact of leadership. Research on reflective practice suggests that intentional, imaginative reflection can influence how leaders perceive themselves and expand their capacity to envision possibilities and opportunities (Schön, 1983; Carroll, 2007).

Ultimately, leadership with integrity is a daily practice.
Choosing presence over performance.
Values over image.
Long-term coherence over short-term gain. And from that place, leadership becomes not simply something we carry — but something that, in many ways, begins to carry us.

What leadership attributes carry you? In a world where leaders face more pressure than ever, we need aligned leaders with wisdom, integrity, and a calm presence.

Do you desire a leadership culture that carries you through times of adversity?

Anne Galambosi (Clinical Psych) wrote today about the kind of leaders who sit on her couch and the impact of their longevity on the current culture.

Anne Galambosi (Clinical Psychologist) Sitting with leaders across different contexts, one thing I’ve learned is that leadership is rarely about strategy. It’s about alignment with integrity. The r…

Leadership for women comes with a lot of side dishes.

*Being underestimated or having their authority questioned
*Navigating male-dominated spaces and “old boys’ networks”
*The double bind of being seen as either too soft or too aggressive
*Carrying disproportionate emotional labour and relationship management
*Balancing family expectations with career demands
*Experiencing imposter syndrome despite clear qualifications
*Facing interruptions and having ideas attributed to others
*Appearance and age-related scrutiny that male peers don’t face
*Pay gaps and fewer advancement opportunities
*The burden of being a “role model” or token representative for all women
