Our next Monthly Group Meditation with the horses is coming up next Tues 10th March

In this guided experience, we gather in the presence of the herd, allowing their grounded, heart-centered energy to support us. The horses meet us exactly where we are. They mirror what is true, invite what is ready to be felt, and hold a field of deep, grounded presence.
As we slow down, breathe, and tune in, many people experience a deeper sense of calm, insights, emotional release and profound bliss and connection β€” both within themselves and with the natural world around them.

No horse experience is needed. Just a willingness to pause.

If you’re feeling the quiet nudge, trust it 🀍
Join us for this month’s group meditation with the herd.

In this session, we were exploring the practice of staying connected to somatic sensation β€” noticing what was happening in the body rather than moving straight to thinking about it.
Horses are extraordinary in their ability to respond to our internal state. Horses meet us with honesty and offer the opportunity for us to be truly honest with ourselves. They don’t respond to our words β€” they respond to our nervous system. As we stay present in our body, we can become aware of when our nervous system is not regulated and develop the ability to regulate it.
Learning to remain present with sensation β€” even when it feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable β€” creates space for authentic connection, both with ourselves and with others.

I heard it’s a long weekend.
That means more quality time.
With me.
Preferably this close. 🐎
(Mum says it’s about connection. I say it’s about snacks.)

May your weekend be present, playful, and just a little bit joyful.

Sometimes curiosity leads to growth.
Sometimes it leads to a bee sting.
Today was the second one.
Even in discomfort, there is a lesson – don’t stick your muzzle where it doesn’t belong!
Thankfully, Mum noticed Mr Bee hovering around the hay this morning.
So when my eye began to swell, there was context β€” not panic.
Without that moment of awareness, she might have gone straight to imagining the worst of my physical symptoms. (I think she did secretly because I felt her pulse rise at least for a second or two!)
A good reminder that observation keeps us grounded… and not every swelling is a catastrophe.
(Still accepting sympathy, though.)

The Lunar New Year celebrations continue, and this year we welcome the Year of the Horse.
In the Chinese zodiac, the Horse represents strength, freedom, courage, and forward movement β€” qualities I witness every day in the herd.
Horses teach us about authentic leadership, grounded power, and moving with intention rather than force.
As we step into this new year, may we embrace momentum, trust our instincts, and move forward with clarity and our heart open.

Empower Inspire Connect

Through the authentic connection that happens with a horse, individuals develop respect, trust and a true sense of empowerment. In the space of the horse, there is no judgement, there is no past and future only the present moment. What we think, feel and act in that moment the horse responds to immediately. This provides a great space for learning in a safe way who we are responsible for. This then transfers through into the human world.

As individuals learn about working with the horses, awareness of their relationship with self and others develops. A deeper understanding of how horses communicate and the herd dynamic provides insights into interpersonal relationships and heart based communication

One Herd supports participants in their individual needs for learning and goal setting in a mindful way. Suitable for all ages, carefully designed interactive exercises are employed to create connection, safe boundaries, being present and aware within our physical bodies.
