Lisa Beyer Kinesiology Adding to existing in-clinic Kinesiology and Mentoring with Individual Support provided in the commu

The aim of a Kinesiology session is to help restore balance to the body. Kinesiology does not diagnose, nor does it treat named diseases. We identify imbalances in the body’s structural, chemical, emotional or other energy through muscle monitoring, and use further feedback from the body to determine which techniques are indicated to help restore balance. These techniques may include holding or massaging reflex points, gentle muscle manipulation, nutritional assessment or other processes as indicated by the body. Kinesiology may help in a whole range of situations including

· Stress, anxiety, depression

· Digestive issues

· Sleep difficulties

· Pain both acute and prolonged

· Women’s health

· Children’s health

· Behavioural issues

· General wellbeing

· Ongoing health concerns

· Goal setting and achieving those goals

· And many more

Clients often report change after just one session, however it is suggested that you undertake 2-3 sessions to fully explore the condition you are working to improve. A kinesiology session typically lasts for one hour, during which time you will remain fully clothed. Because a variety of muscles, including those of the leg, are tested, we suggest you wear comfortable shorts or trousers rather than a dress or skirt. A detailed history is taken on your first visit as well as information about the condition you are hoping to improve. We will set a goal for the session and proceed with muscle testing and indicated techniques to work towards your goal. No two kinesiology sessions are the same and one person coming in with digestive issues will need an entirely different approach to another.

✨ Small Changes, Big Differences! ✨
We're thrilled to unveil our freshly revamped room setup! Step inside and discover how even the tiniest modifications can have a profound impact on our daily experiences.

Have you heard that sometimes the key to transformation lies in the details? We couldn't agree more! By fine-tuning our space with careful consideration, we've created an environment that fosters harmony, balance, and optimum well-being for you.

From the rearranged furniture that enhances flow and energy, to the use of natural light to promote relaxation and focus, every element has been purposefully curated to create a tranquil space where healing and rejuvenation can flourish.

We feel these changes aren't limited to our space alone. They reflect the philosophy we embrace, acknowledging the tremendous influence small adjustments can have on our overall health and vitality. Just as a slight shift in posture can improve our alignment, or a subtle alteration in nutrition can boost our energy levels, our room transformation exemplifies the transformative power of small, intentional actions.

So, let's remember that in our own lives, whether it's adjusting our mindset, adopting a new self-care ritual, or making positive choices in our daily routines, it's the little things that add up to create profound differences.

Please join us on this journey of growth and transformation! We invite you to experience the impact of small changes firsthand. Book your appointment today and discover the magic that awaits you.

Celebrating 10 years in business!

It was 10 years ago this January when I first opened my doors at a tiny clinic with some great foundational kinesiology training and a bundle of nerves.
I feel honoured to still be going strong all these years later, with a lot more skills, and new elements to offer including mentoring, disability support and palliative care. There is so much more I hope to do including hopefully this year introducing a gorgeous, qualified Therapy Dog!
Thank you so much for the trust that you have placed in me, whether we have had a chat on the phone about your specific needs, you have referred me to someone without ever coming yourself, you have attended one session or have seen me over a longer period of time.
A massive thank you also goes to my family, teachers and classmates. There is no way I could have done it without you.
Here’s to many more years of supporting you to live your very best life!

What to expect during your first appointment
When you book your consultation, you will receive an email with the address and time of your appointment, along with a photo of the exterior of the building. There is also an online questionnaire to complete if you wish to ensure we are making the most of our time together.
On arrival, the lovely reception staff will greet you and invite you to take a seat.
The photos above are inside the clinic room. To start things off, you will be sitting on a grey chair while we have a conversation about how you are feeling and how you would like to be feeling. I am ready to answer any questions you may have.
In the case of a child or person with disability, the parent or carer may do the majority of the speaking of the client does not feel comfortable speaking for themselves. This is always done with permission, and with the person knowing that if we are getting anything wrong, to please let us know.
After speaking for several minutes, we then move to the massage table. Depending on what you are presenting with and the style of kinesiology we choose to work with, you may be lying on your stomach or back. There may be times and situations where sitting is preferred. I have the training and skills to be able to accomodate this. Your comfort is critical.
The table will be lifted to the correct height, I will ask permission to work with you, and this is where the muscle testing begins. I will show you how it works and make sure I am answering any questions you may have before we proceed.
I continually check in to confirm that you are comfortable as we are working and ensure that I have permission for the work we do.
Please, if you would like to know more, please reach out.

Online Update and Professional Development

Hello from my little home workspace, with an update to my availability for online consultations and phone conversations with you.

For the next few months sessions are available from 3-7pm Monday to Friday with Saturday spots still available for those who prefer earlier times.

The reason for the change is because I have started a Cert in Individual Support. As you are aware, one of my passions is to work with people who have special needs and their loved ones. This course is equipping me with further skills and qualifications to support people in ways that I have been dreaming of for years, stepping beyond the traditional kinesiology framework. I look forward to being able to serve you even better in the future.

Please reach out if you would like a chat or session with me.

What does an online appointment with me look like? Let’s set up a complimentary 15 minute session for you to get a feel of the way things work. This has been a part of my practice since early 2014 that I would love to share with you.

I’ve completed the Australian Gov covid-19 Infection Control training time ensure I am on track in my work and everyday life. I’d encourage anyone who is in the community still to do the same. If you’ve been following the news, it’s really easy.
