I’m still in the office on a Friday seeing 1 on 1 Nutrition clients too. I have spaces for new clients if you’re keen to get started or old ones that want to re-engage! 💞

Forget new year, new you type resolutions. I prefer to work with where you’re at and help you to feel like the best version of yourself. Most of my clients are super busy people who just need accountability, professional knowledge and support to get there. 😻

I know price can sometimes be a factor so full disclosure below on what I charge. These prices are a reflection of my 25 years experience in the health and wellness space and over $60k worth of personally funded qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nutrition, Certificate in Nutrition, Certificate in Sports Nutrition and Certificate in Fitness). 💸

Initial Consultations (include assessment, goal setting and planning - you’ll get a personalised plan to get you started emailed to you after the session). These can be done via video call.

Follow up sessions. Checking in to see where you’re at. What’s worked and what hasn’t. Amy tweaks that may need to be made and a bit of kind accountability thrown in the mix.

🍋Sugar free lemon curd tarts made in the thermie 🍋

Haven’t made these in a while! I used the keto sweet pastry and the lemon curd (600gms) recipe in cookidoo®. Swapped the sugar for allulose in the lemon curd recipe. You’ll have leftover lemons curd which tastes amazing mixed in yogurt!

I made these in mini size for a sugar free treat cooking class back in NZ a few moons ago! Today I went big though 👀

These are topped with edible flowers for the gram. 📸

Netflix has just released a behind the scenes documentary of that famous TV show “The Biggest Loser” (2002-2017) that we ALL watched and it’s #1 trending

The winner of Season 8 Danny Cahill lost 239 pounds (108 kg) and won $250,000 USD. Here’s how he did it:

Diet of 800 calories a day while burning 6,000 in boot camp style.
Blood in urine, appetite suppressants, up to 8 hours a day training
Didn’t eat for 10 days before the final weigh in

After the show, he put back all the weight (photo in orange shirt below)

While this makes for great television these are real people whose lives are at stake.

New Show Idea: The Biggest Loser ❌The Biggest Behaviour Changer ✔

Episode #1: Contestants learn about fat vs carb burning and metabolism. They are each provided a coach who wasn't a nasty drill sergeant bully, but a supporter who walks alongside them through the journey?

Weighed every episode ❌ Continuous glucose monitoring showed every episode ✔

Contestants wear a continuous glucose monitor and the audience learns about normalising all their metabolic hormones like insulin, leptin, the GLP-1 system would function normally.

Exercise: 8 hours daily bootcamp style ❌Zone two aerobic exercise ✔

Contestants learn how to do Zone 2, strength training and how to keep doing it for life. They’d have a coach who helped them do what they love to do.

Short term outcome: They number on the scale might not be as low

Long term outcome: Actual success, the ability to change behaviour and keep the weight off while the number on the scale would be lower.

Some would also fail - the reality of real world weight loss. But would anyone watch this? It's hard, it takes a long time, and you don’t always come out the other side looking like a temporary fashion model.

The entertainment value is probably much lower, educational value much higher? On this basis it's not going to be Netflix anytime soon.
