So… What IS Blindfolded Shamanic Trance Dance?

Some words from our facilitator Kristiaan:

"A Blend of modern and traditional Trance style music intended to help induce a natural trance state.

Yes, the dancers are blindfolded so all movements are authentic for the dancer.

My intention for the blindfold is for the dancer to focus on feeling through the movement rather than thinking about it.

I have two large rolls of yoga mat around the perimeter of the floor for the dancer to stop & feel with their feet - this is so they know the boundaries.

After an invitation ceremony we will set boundaries for during the dance (ie. no swinging arms or kicks at face height..)

We Will Dance.

And then… there will be a Transformational Sound Journey where individuals can snuggle up on their yoga mat with pillow and blanket.

Ending this I will offer a small guided meditation to gently come back and finishing off with a sharing circle of gratitude 🙏

Herbal teas will be offered afterwards to help with grounding before we head out onto the next adventure that awaits us.

Space will be limited to an initimate group of 8 participants and doors will be locked once we open circle.

If you are late, you miss out. I don’t stop and restart the process. Please be organised and punctual.

Transformational Sound Journey with Kristiaan Tea

Location: Zenko Yoga Noosa Studio

Time: 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Join Kristiaan for this Transformational Sound Journey, an event created for our community to come together to heal, to connect and to be.

Let Kristiaan hold you in this nurturing & grounded space allowing you to journey the realms of deep relaxation, healing & transformation.

Throughout the 90 minutes he will weave his sacred sonic magic with healing instruments such as crystal & Tibetan singing bowls, medicine drum, flute, chimes & intuitively channelled vocals to shift you into a meditative state.

Get ready to journey to the other realms & return to Earth feeling a deep sense of peace, clarity & a big smile on your face!

What to bring: Water Bottle, Yoga mat, Cushion, Blanket & anything else you need to feel comfortable.

We suggest comfortable clothing appropriate for a gentle yoga practice. The space at Zenko will be kept at a cosy temperature, although you may like to bring some extra layers.

Afterwards Zenko will be putting on some Chai for all to share, so hang around, meet our teachers, enjoy each others company and let's come together to heal and renew as a community 🥰

BLACK CORAL - the stone of LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS is our guiding frequency for tonight's Ritual Sonics Full Moon Yin Yoga & Sound Ceremony.

This frequency speaks to me of Faith and the Art of Surrender.

Often when you think there is nothing more to surrender you are given an opportunity to surrender some more.

It becomes easier and easier, the more you let go… and surrender is steeped in Faith… when we surrender we are having Faith in the higher order of things, the bigger picture of our lives and our Soul’s journey.

We surrender and we release attachment to outcomes, we have Faith that we will be shown the way, that in our darkest hour, there will be a guiding light… our own Light within.

When we surrender we are having Faith in our inner light to guide us, to show us the way when all else in our world is being stripped away.

We let go and have Faith, and our light grows stronger, the path is illuminated and we take another step forward on our Soul's journey.
