Ingredients:
5 cups of water
1 tablespoon miso paste
1 cup of shiitake mushroom sliced
2 small onions, diced
1 cup of celery sliced
1 cup of carrot slice sliced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
40 g Astragalus root
5 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Steps:
1. heat water and miso in a large pot until the paste dissolves.
2. Add mushrooms, onion, celery, carrots, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, astragalus and simmer for one hour.
3. Add garlic and coconut oil for the last 10 minutes.
4. Remove Astragalus from the seat before serving.
