Join a workshop near you!

Get Ready, Plan Ahead Workshops are being held online for the Sunshine Coast Region. Learn how to plan for your health and safety in emergencies such as severe storms, floods, bushfires, and heatwaves.

It is important to attend all sessions in the series to cover the four steps.
Step 1: Friday 7 of June, 4-5:30pm
Step 2: Friday 14 of June, 4-5pm
Step 3: Friday 21 of June, 4-5pm
Step 4: Friday 28 of June, 4-5pm
Location: Online via Zoom

These workshops are presented by and for people with disability. Join us if you are someone with disability or have additional health or support needs. You’ll be guided through the four steps of Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP). Workshops are inclusive and accessible, fun and free!

We are looking for our next superstar to join a well-established team of experienced plan managers.

Ideally you are currently working as a Plan Manager and have a minimum of one years experience. We are located across our centres in Morayfield, Maroochydore, Nambour and Gympie and this position will be located at our Nambour centre. We offer a supportive environment, training and flexibility with the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders in the area. Part Time employment may also be considered.

Your Role:

👉 Provide responsive supports to NDIS Participants seeking Plan Management under their NDIS Plan
👉Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the NDIA, NDIS Participants, Participants’ Parents/Carers, and key external NDIS service providers
👉Manage Participants’ NDIS funding in alignment with NDIA guidelines with due diligence and efficiency
👉Contribute proactively to a dynamic and adaptable NDIS Plan Management work team
👉Maintain confidentiality of all information

We're excited to inform you about a FREE Emergency Preparedness Workshop in Gympie. This 2 x half-day session supports people in planning for emergencies.

QDN and Gympie Regional Council offer FREE Emergency Preparedness workshops for individuals with additional health needs, their carers, and families, led by experienced individuals.

Gympie – Get Ready, Plan Ahead Workshop
Attendance required for both Part A and B:

Part A: Tuesday 20 February, 10am-1pm
Part B: Tuesday 5 March, 10am-1pm

Where: Weeroona Association, 16 Red Hill Road, Gympie
The workshops use the 'Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness Workbook' (P-CEP), co-designed by people with disability for tailored emergency planning.
