What advice would you give women seeking inspiration?
Stacie Lusins "I would suggest doing something that really brings out your joy. When you are in that space, where you feel aligned, trust your instincts and what that voice is telling you. We hold these answers within us; we just need to get to a space where we can trust that and block out the noise and distraction. If you need to bounce ideas, turn to key people in your life. When I do this and I still feel the same excitement after sharing the idea, I’ll run with it."

We are still buzzing from yesterday’s event and smiling as we look through these photos. What an incredible day it was celebrating International Women’s Day together.
A huge thank you to every single person who came along and filled the room with such amazing energy, conversation and inspiration. Thank you to our speakers HumanKind TV Angela Williams, Morton MP and Fast Psychology Kelly Smith. Events like this are only special because of the people in the room, and you all made it truly unforgettable.

What does an inspired life mean to you?
Kelly Smith "It means living aligned with your values, even when it’s inconvenient. It’s saying no to drama or anything that drains you. It’s being deliberate with your time, energy and relationships. It’s asking, “What do I actually want here?” and making moves toward it, quietly but surely. I listen to Future Me. She’s done the thing already. She’s calm, a bit cheeky, probably wearing something fabulous. She reminds me I’ve done hard things before. I’ll do them again. Sharon Fulwood "Look close to home - what makes your heart sing? Where do you feel useful? I think it is really important to acknowledge your feelings instead of suppressing them. Have some amazing friends who know everything about you and can advocate for you when you need it. Be true to yourself. Respect yourself enough to say no."

This year’s theme reminds us of something deeply powerful:
when women give, we don’t lose, we gain.
When we give our time, our wisdom, our stories, our encouragement, or simply our presence, something beautiful happens. We gain connection. We gain strength. We gain perspective. And our communities grow stronger because of it.
Giving doesn’t always look big or loud. Sometimes it’s a quiet conversation, a shared experience, a hand reached out when someone needs it most. And often, what comes back is far greater than what was given.

"To be alive is such a gift and something we may take for granted at times. Get up and move your body, that is what connects you to you. Nourish it with good food to ground oneself and take inspired action with daily self-care rituals using essential oils and any other tools to truly honour the amazing vessel you were gifted with. Being aware of your body and health is the greatest gift as it allows you to think and do better. We all know it you can have 1000 problems to deal with, but the moment you have a health problem, you only have one!"

Women Inspired is a project designed to shine a light on incredible women with stories of strength, determination and intelligence. Culminating in a beautifully presented hard cover book, detailing the stories of 50 Sunshine Coast women along with a photographic portraiture of each, this is a a testament to each woman’s courage to own her truth, her passion and her path. They are feminine inspirations, the kind of women we look to and think: She did it. Maybe I can too.
But here’s the kicker: every woman has a story worth revealing. It is our collective knowledge which allows us all to be inspired to rise to our greatest selves. Women Inspired understand the importance of this feminine knowledge in informing our own directions and practices, in helping each other to find and follow whatever it is that lights that fire in our belly, the thing that gets us out of bed in the morning and puts a smile on our face.
Women Inspired: The Sunshine Coast is the brainchild of Josanne Falla, a Noosa business woman passionate about connection and empowering the feminine. Jaya MacIyntre is the woman behind the lens of Empire Art Photography, gifted in the art of transforming the love and beauty within her subjects into gorgeous photographs they love. Melinda Uys is the worker of words, writing the stories of inspiration, transformation, determination and hope.
