We’ve all been there…You’re a little disorganised, short on time or just feeling off - So you press play on a random playlist. Then it happens: one jagged track lands mid-class and the whole room gets pulled out of the zone (including you).

That’s the moment I stopped outsourcing the soundtrack and started curating on purpose. Using the Trinity Method (Create | Sustain | Dissolve) gave me a simple arc to hold the room.

The shift was immediate. Students asked me for the savasana track by name after class - Not once but multiple times - Because they wanted to keep listening at home. Others lingered longer, talking about how much they loved that final track. The music didn’t just shape the practice - It created sangha (community).

The science backs this: music doesn’t just move us individually, it bonds people. Yogis have known this for centuries- neuroscience is catching up 😉🧠🎶

✨ Think Sthira (steadiness): a reliable arc that holds energy rather than overwhelms.
✨Think Sukha (ease): a simple flow - Creation, Sustain, Dissolve - That clears the noise.
✨ Think Pravaha (flow): music that carries your students seamlessly from first breath to last.

Instead of “too much effort”, try “one simple structure, every time”. That’s how your playlists shift from background noise into a sonic journey your students actually feel.

A well- crafted playlist can spark dopamine and transform your practice into an unbroken flow state.

I looked into the science behind it - And how yogis have known this for centuries.
