Perimenopause is often labelled as decline, disorder, or imbalance.
But what if it’s actually a biological uprising -

Anxiety meds didn’t fail you - they were just never designed to fix the root of what was happening in your body. They suppress the symptom, suppress your body’s call for adjustment, they keep you stuck in the loop and you don’t even realise.

Because your anxiety was never “all in your head.”

I’ll never forget this photo.
It was taken in a season that almost broke me - heartbreak, hormones, and holding it all together for everyone else. Feeling like I was on the brink of destruction... Yet I surprised myself

I could have spiralled. I used to.
But this time, I didn’t.
Because I wasn’t living in survival mode anymore.

For years I thought I was just bad at coping.
That I was weak. That I was broken. That I was the world’s worst mother.

But the truth?
It wasn’t stress. It was perimenopause eating me alive. It was cortisol ruling my entire body, my entire life. I wasn’t in control of me. I was a prisoner.
And the longer I ignored it, the worse it got.
