Congratulations to our very own clinical psychologist and co-founder Dr Johann Eloff, who has been announced as the Inaugural winner of the Australian Patients Association Outstanding Psychologist Award for 2024!

At a grand ceremony at the Sofitel Melbourne on Thursday evening, 8 health services and individuals were recognised for their excellence in Australian healthcare, particularly patient care.

The award was presented by Victoria Hills from the Australian Psychological Society (APS) who highlighted Johann's dedication to ethical, compassionate and high-quality patient care.

Hannah is a vibrant Clinical Psychologist at E&A Maroochydore passionate about providing a safe, supportive trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, and inclusive environment where clients can thrive.

Hannah supports clients of all ages Monday - Friday with a wide range of mental health difficulties or life situations including anxiety, trauma, depression, and neurodiversity.

She uses a range of evidence-based treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and play therapy. In addition, Hannah has recently completed her training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

We don't often shine a light on the amazing work of E&A children & teen psychologists because of their waitlists...This means we miss out on celebrating our most vibrant psychologists though, who have rooms full of glitter and slime and race their clients to consulting rooms. Each month they help hundreds of young people on the Sunshine Coast find a brighter path forward.

So, meet Sarah! Sarah is a mum to three beautiful children at home + a favourite therapist to so many children and teens at E&A Maroochydore. Sarah is a bundle of joy with over 15 years experience.

Sarah believes each person is unique and deserves to be celebrated for who they are. She provides a neurodiversity affirming, holistic, trauma-informed, and relationship focussed approach. She has additional training in childhood trauma, complex behaviour support, working with neurodivergent children and adults, and Schema Therapy. She also offers assessment of Autism and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

P.s. She also has a passion for supporting new and expecting parents, believing that the provision of early care can positively impact relationships and wellbeing long term.
