On Australia Day -
I spent a magical afternoon at an Aboriginal gathering in La Perouse.
Auntie Barb Simms gave a beautiful talk, and the First Nations people graciously shared their wisdom and culture.
It was a day of unity and love, spent with Tansy Mclean and Maria Christou.
I feel a deep empathy for the Aboriginal people, as I know firsthand what it’s like to have ancestral land taken away. I am truly blessed that these beautiful people shared with me their dreamtime stories and teachings.
We must acknowledge the true history of this land and its people—the oldest continuous culture on earth, who have survived unimaginable atrocities and the theft of their land. Despite all, they remain strong and are willing to share their wisdom with us today.
As for me, I was just six years old when war broke out in my homeland, Cyprus—the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. My family had to flee.
The irony still remains: little dicks in power who think they can control and enslave the feminine.
I am forever grateful my parents chose Australia as our new home.
This land is incredibly beautiful and sacred.
That is why I struggle to understand how anyone could come here with hatred in their hearts. How can one not feel gratitude and joy to live on such sacred ground?
Now is the time for the feminine to rise, and for men to protect what is sacred.
It is time for people to unite as one and to forgive—to anchor the light of love.
For that love is within each of us.
I experienced the magic of creation: a gathering filled with love and inspiration.
It’s time now for the Rainbow tribe. Hoping prophecy -
“When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people shall come onto Earth of many colours, and their actions and deeds shall make the Earth green again. They shall be known as the warriors of the rainbow.”
