Kaleido Yoga Movement / Stillness / Connection For me, yoga is about the balance between effort and ease. Finding peace and balance in the body and mind.

Consciously moving to the rhythm of the breath. I discovered yoga 8 years ago, as a life-changing to improve my mental health. I straight away noticed the positive effects it had on my mind as well as my physical body. There was a studio, Jivamukti, next to my home where I began taking classes. It started with two days a week, but soon, I was there almost every day to practice. Yoga was now a part of me and the thoughts of attending a teacher training had begun. My own personal practice really started to evolve when I in 2018 moved to the beach and nature became my studio, along with This is Yoga and Power Living. In 2019 I decided that it was time to join my first teacher training and I was looking at different options in India and Bali during 2020. As we all know there wasn’t much travelling happening that year. In May 2021 I attended ’Wild Self Yoga’s 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training in Crescent Head, Nsw,
an amazing experience led by my teachers; Rose Hill, Xinia Alderson & Nick Ziegler. They really nourished my curiosity, especially the teachings of Yogic Anatomy (energetics), Anatomy, Sequencing & Pranayama. Back in Sydney I started to teach private classes as well as continuing my studies as a yoga teacher. I recently graduated from Cert IV in Yoga Teaching at Australian Learning Group.

Wholesome morning where we move, care and connect.

This month I’ll be guiding you through a gentle movement practice, before we are headed out to cleanup up the beach and surroundings. 🌀
Stay for refreshments if you have the time, connect with lovely people, and have a swim.

Markets are on afterwards for a delicious breakfast and some local shopping. 🙏

Parking can be a bit tricky so call on the parking fairies 🧚‍♀️ and give yourself some extra time ✨

An ancient concept within Yogic philosophy that is as relevant today as then, if not even more.

It's translated into Effort & Ease, which can be thought of as balance in life. The ebb and flow of life. The highs and lows.

On the yoga mat, it's often referred to as the harmony that is possible to experience when we arrive in a challenging place, but we are able to remain present and breathing in a rhythmic way even though our legs might be burning 🔥

Then, when we move off the mat and carry this teaching into our everyday lives... That's when true yoga happens.
We learn how grow and evolve through challenging situations in life with a sense of ease and surrender.
How we embrace playfulness but also know the meaning of discipline. How we know when it's time to push harder or time to let go.

It's a lifelong practice, so be kind to yourself & try to see every situation as an opportunity to enhance your experience of life.

Did you take a moment today to slow down to actually sit with yourself and observe how you feel inside?

To take a moment a few times per day and give yourself full attention and acknowledge how you feel, under the layers of those emotion we project outwards in the world.

Is that your true essence or is there something more beneath that, that waits to recognized and seen?

When you give yourself that time to close your eyes and take few slow deep breathe's there is so many different nuances of feelings that gets the permission to show up.

It's maybe not always as pretty as we want it to be, but keep pushing them away and ignoring them is not gonna let them go away. They stays in the body as they are currents of energy and vibrations. This can manifest in physical pain or ailments in the body if it's left unattended for a long time. Emotions are not good or bad, they just are. It's the labels we have put on the feelings that makes us believe something is good or bad. Our mind has conditioned these feelings.

So give yourself the time and permission to go inwards and open those rooms inside that you kept the door locked on for so long. Little by little, slowly slowly. Be kind to yourself. Journal about it. Make art about. Take a look and send love to every single space of yourself.
