🌾 International Women’s Day 🌾

Today, I honor the strength, wisdom, and beauty of women everywhere. Each woman carries within her a unique light, the power to create, nurture, transform, and inspire.

My journey has taught me that when a woman reconnects with her inner peace and her true essence, she becomes an incredible force of love, clarity, and positive change in the world. When we support one another, uplift each other, and celebrate our individuality, we create a powerful collective energy.

Every woman deserves to be sovereign, respected, and safe. Violence in any form is never acceptable. While we often speak about violence coming from men, it can also come from women.

Today, I also feel it is time for me to share another personal story: the physical violence I experienced from my father’s second wife. I regret that I did not file a complaint at the time.

By speaking about it, I hope it may encourage other women to find the courage to speak out and feel safer.

I am also encouraged to see that some abusive men are finally being held accountable thanks to the courage of women who have started to speak out. Their voices are helping truth and justice come to light.

If you are facing violence - from anyone - please speak out. Do not stay silent. Dare to raise your voice. Your voice matters. Your safety matters. You deserve protection, dignity, and peace. By speaking out and holding harmful people accountable, we help create safer communities and safer spaces for everyone.

Also dare to listen to your body and your feelings. Being sovereign begins with feeling safe and respected when someone speaks to you. If certain words hurt you, if something feels wrong, your body often knows it before your mind does. When you feel that discomfort but do not dare to say anything, that is the moment to gently honor your truth and speak up - even with people who may seem closed or unwilling to listen.

By speaking up and refusing to tolerate abuse, we help ensure that harmful people lose their power - and together we build safer communities. With love and gratitude to all the inspiring women in my life and around the world. Olivia 😘🌾🙏

How to raise my frequency today?

Vinyasa at sunrise.
A slow, intentional yoga flow.
Deep surrender in yin.
Stillness through meditation.
Healing hands in a Balinese massage.
Organic food
And lots of smiles.

Two weeks in Ubud to reconnect, realign, and refine my vision. This is sacred time to focus on my work, to create and prepare a full year of retreats, workshops, yoga classes, and personal coaching.

It’s not just about building offerings - it’s about becoming the energy I want to share. Practicing yoga for hours each day. Listening deeply. Moving consciously. Living softly.

Raising my frequency from the inside out.

Gratitude for Nature: A Path to Inner Calm and Lasting Health

There’s something profoundly healing about stepping into nature, the rustle of leaves, the rhythm of waves, the soft warmth of sunlight on skin. Today, I pause in deep gratitude for these quiet moments that reconnect me to something larger, simpler, and deeply nurturing.

Spending time in nature isn’t just a luxury; it’s a necessity for our well-being. Science now confirms what many ancient traditions have long known: the natural world has a calming effect on our nervous system. Even a short walk among trees or mindful moments by water can shift us from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. This isn’t just emotional , it’s physiological.

Nature and the Nervous System
When we immerse ourselves in a peaceful natural setting, cortisol levels drop, heart rate slows, and the parasympathetic nervous system takes the lead. We breathe more deeply. Our muscles release tension. Our minds clear.

The Epigenetic Ripple
What’s even more fascinating is that these calming effects may go deeper than we realize. Research in “epigenetics”, the study of how behaviors and environment can influence gene expression, suggests that time in nature can help “turn on” genes associated with resilience, immune strength, and longevity. In other words, how we live and what we expose ourselves to, including the serenity of nature, can influence how our genes function over time.

A Daily Dose of Gratitude
Gratitude magnifies this effect. When we approach nature not just with our senses but with a heart full of appreciation, we strengthen neural pathways for peace, contentment, and presence. Gratitude itself has been shown to reduce stress and support healthier gene expression, a beautiful feedback loop of healing.

So today, I invite you to pause. Step outside if you can. Notice the sky, a flower, the air on your skin. Let gratitude rise, even for just a moment.

Your body, mind, and even your genes are listening. 😘🌾
