It’s in the tender moments of life that can hold the most meaning 💖

Last weekend I married A&D

In a tender moment, A’s young son came forward with the rings… as he passed the rings to A&D, he was overcome with emotion and sat on a rock with (happy) tears in his eyes

After the ceremony, he was embraced lovingly and warmly by his parents, the bride encouraging him gently to throw the bouquet

These heartfelt moments are why I love being a wedding celebrant

Last week a small group of like minded people came together to talk about organ donation.

C shared her experience of donating a family members organs, according to their wishes. She generously shared a heartfelt letter the family received from one of the organ recipients. We all had tears in our eyes.

P shared insights as a Clinical Nurse Co-ordinater working with donor families.

It was a deeply moving, educational and inspiring conversation.
