What is Myotherapy?

Myotherapy treatments can assist and aid in prevention, assessment, early intervention and treatment of injuries and pain and the ongoing management of chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Treatment applications may include, however are not limited to, dry needling, exercise and rehabilitation planning, massage therapy and joint mobilisation.

Myotherapists have extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. The aim when treating and assessing an individual is to trace any pain, complaint or discomfort as far back as possible to the original cause. The goal is to heal both the cause of the concern, as well as the presenting symptoms.

Meet Pete:

Pete owns Inhealth Myotherapy and is an experienced practitioner who helps rehabilitate people and return them to a greater level of health.

Treating sports Injuries, back and neck pain, joint pain, and discomfort caused by bad posture. Muscle sprains and strains, migraine and tension headaches and Temporal Mandibular Syndrome (TMJ).

He has particular expertise and interest in treating trigger points, and myofascial release. He provides deep tissue massage, which helps with increasing range of movement, reduces stiffness, and aches and pains.

Pete is experienced in orthopaedic assessment and has come from a successful multidiscipline practice, established in 2007.
