This year’s theme, “No one left behind,” reminds us that while HIV treatment and prevention have come a long way, inequities still exist. We all have a role in creating a future free from stigma, discrimination and barriers to care.

✨ Did you know?
• People living with HIV who take antiretroviral treatment can live long, healthy lives.
• When treated effectively, HIV can be suppressed to an undetectable level—meaning zero risk of passing it on to a sexual partner.
• Preventive medication (PrEP) can greatly reduce the chance of getting HIV through sexual activity.
• Quick-access treatment (PEP) is available for people who may have been exposed.
• Harm-reduction programs help keep individuals safe from drug-related transmission.

Yet, many people still aren’t aware of these life-changing options.
