The Maryborough Neighbourhood Centre is holding their Youth Week Open Day tomorrow if anyone is looking for something fun to do over the school holidays!

We’re all set to WELCOME you tomorrow Wednesday 15 April from 10 am to 2 pm for our Youth Week Open Day. It will be a day of connection and hands -on fun. There will be free sausage sizzle and a cooking demo…it’s first come first serve so don’t miss that! You can also learn more and explore programs supporting young people. NOMINATE a young person for the YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS or get involved in YOUTH VOLUNTEERING! Hope to see you!

YOU Queensland provides Employment-Related Assessments!

An employment-related assessment is used to understand a participant’s capacity for employment and provide clear direction around appropriate supports and next steps.

The assessment includes a structured overview of:
• Employment goals and interests
• Functional capacity in relation to work
• Strengths and support needs
• Barriers impacting employment
• Recommendations to guide next steps

A written report will be provided to support planning, changes in circumstances, plan reviews, and to ensure that supports reflect the participant’s current situation. It can also assist in providing clear supporting evidence for future supports where needed.
