🌿 From Studio to Station: A Dream Listing That Speaks to the Soul 🐴✨888 North Branch Road, Mount Perry

One of the most beautiful things about this new real estate journey I’m on is how the right people and properties seem to cross my path at just the right time.

Late last year, only a few months into working at Belle Property Maryborough, I was unexpectedly left to hold down the fort while our amazing Principal was away for health reasons. It was a little scary, I won’t lie — but it was also one of the biggest gifts.

One day, a woman walked into the office, frustrated with the fees and upfront costs she’d been quoted by another agency. We got chatting. She asked about our marketing, our approach, and by the end of the conversation, she handed me her dad’s number — said I should give him a call about his property near Mt Perry.

So I did.

And that phone call turned into something really special.

Her dad? A true bushy — full of stories, rugged charm, and a good laugh. Not long after, he turned up at the office in person and said, "I want to list with you." No fluff, no fuss — just good old-fashioned trust and connection.

This wasn’t just a win for me as a new agent — it was also the first property I listed entirely on my own. I couldn’t get in touch with the boss, but something in me said "Go for it." So I did.

And what a decision it was.

When I first visited the property, I had to bush-bash my way in with a 4x4 to explore it. What I found took my breath away...

🏞️ Over 4,000 Acres of Untouched Australian Beauty

✨ 2,100 acres usable for cattle grazing
💧 Abundant natural water from multiple creeks
🛠️ Cattle yards in place
🏕️ Existing Hipcamp setup with 6 years of operation
🚙 Potential for a 4x4 Adventure Park
🌿 Off-grid opportunity
🗻 Short drive to Mt Perry for supplies

But here's where it gets even better… as someone who’s spent years teaching yoga and connecting with nature-loving souls, I can’t help but see all the possibility in this land:

🧘‍♀️ Imagine a secluded eco village where you host yoga retreats in mountain yurts…
🌄 Guided hikes, creek swims, stargazing, and nature meditations...
🎨 A writers’ or artists’ retreat, where creativity flows as freely as the water through the gullies…
🦜 Bird watchers and nature lovers reconnecting with peace, stillness, and the land…

This place is a blank canvas for someone with vision — someone who sees not just dirt and paddocks, but potential and peace. Whether you’re looking to invest, live simply, or create a sanctuary for others, this land is ready for you.

If this speaks to something in you — reach out. Let’s chat price expectations, possibilities, or even just arrange a tour so you can see it for yourself.

“Wherever the Fear May Be, Look It in the Eyes”

My path into Real Estate — from PA to Agent — has been a fast-tracked one, that’s for sure.

But if you know me, you’ll know I’ve always had a bit of a "just jump in" approach to life. I’ve learned that if I overthink things, I’ll probably talk myself out of them. So when something calls to me, I try not to let fear take the wheel.

It was the same the time I decided — very spontaneously — to do a bungy jump in my early 20s. We were driving home from Airlie Beach when I saw the bungy crane and just said, “Stop the car, I’m doing it.”

I walked straight in, signed up, got to the top of the platform, and reminded myself of a motto I’d adopted from a brand I loved back in the late '90s:
“Wherever the fear may be, look it in the eyes.”

I knew that if I hesitated, fear might freeze me. So I didn’t.
I didn’t even listen properly to the guy giving me instructions (oops!).
With my ankles bound and the heavy bungy cord tugging at me, I leapt forward — only to be yanked over the edge way faster than expected.

It was chaotic, slightly terrifying, and didn’t go quite to plan. But it was also exhilarating.

They actually let me go again for free — because that first time was such a wild mess. And the second time? I took a breath, listened carefully, and had an incredible experience.

That story has always stayed with me — not just because of the adrenaline, but because it taught me something important:

Sometimes we have to leap before we’re ready.
Sometimes the lesson comes after the jump.
And the best growth often comes from those sink or swim moments.

That same mindset has carried me through this recent chapter of my life — the shift from yoga teacher to real estate agent.

I didn’t wait until I felt totally ready. I didn’t plan it out years in advance. Life lined up, and I said yes.

Yes to something new.
Yes to something a little scary.
Yes to the opportunity to grow.

I feel like I’ve been fast-tracked in real estate not just because I’m a little older or have life experience — but because I don’t hesitate. I show up, ask questions, dive in, and learn as I go. I don’t want to waste time. I want to live fully and face things head-on.

Sure, it’s been overwhelming at times. Real estate is fast-paced, full-on, and deeply emotional for people. But I love it. I love helping others through big life transitions — just like I’ve gone through mine.

And every day, I remind myself:
Fear will always be there.
But so will courage.
So I choose to jump anyway.

I’m curious — do you have a story like that?
A time you said yes even though it scared you?
A moment where you jumped before you were ready… and it changed your life?

👇 I’d love to hear it in the comments. Let's share our "look fear in the eyes" moments. You never know who your story might inspire.

The Unexpected Path That Led Me Here

Getting into real estate was never something I thought I’d actually accomplish.
It was more of a quiet little dream I carried around for many years.

Back in my early 20s, I had a close friend whose family I spent a lot of time with. Her lovely mum was a real estate agent — gentle, softly spoken, and full of heart. Not exactly the traits I had associated with real estate agents at the time… but I admired her deeply.

Back then, I was into numerology (still am, really!) and loved exploring the meanings behind numbers and other esoteric studies. One day I realised I shared the same numbers as this woman I looked up to — and somewhere in the back of my mind, I thought, Well, if she can do it, maybe one day I could too.

But life had other plans first — I suppose to prepare me for this path.

Fast forward to 2020 — the COVID chaos we all remember. My business, The Yoga Studio Maryborough, was doing really well. I had a full timetable, regular clients, and was expanding into different class styles. It felt like things were really flowing… until lockdown hit.

I moved yoga classes online, but it just didn’t have the same magic as being in the room with people.
Looking back, that time ended up being a blessing dressed as a curse. It gave me space to reflect — to really ask myself, Where is my life going?

When restrictions lifted, I didn’t feel the same pull to go back to the full schedule of pre-COVID life. I pared back, explored other options, and eventually found myself back in retail. Then, life took another unexpected turn.

An old charity event I’d put on hold for eight years came back into my world, and I found myself organising it again. As part of that, we approached local businesses for sponsorship — and that’s when I met Tina.

The moment I sat down with her, I just knew — this woman was going to be part of something important in my life. I had no idea how, but the feeling was undeniable.

A little while later, as one of the retail jobs I had went into receivership, a mutual friend mentioned that Tina was looking for a PA. I figured I had nothing to lose by reaching out… and the rest, as they say, is history.

And now here I am — working in real estate, and loving it.

I love meeting locals and hearing the stories that make up their lives. I love helping first home buyers find a place they can truly call their own. And I feel genuinely honoured to be trusted by people navigating huge life changes — separation, divorce, loss — to guide them through one of the biggest transitions (and transactions) of their lives.

So if you’re new here, welcome! This page used to be all about yoga — and in many ways, it still is about connection, balance, and showing up for others. The form has changed, but the heart remains the same. 💚

Hi friends, it’s me, Chelsie. 🧘‍♀️➡️🏡

You might have noticed a few changes on this page... and that’s because I’ve had a pretty big career shift!

After years of teaching yoga and helping people find peace and balance on the mat, I’m now embracing a new path—I’ve become a Real Estate Agent here in beautiful Maryborough.

This page will be evolving too, from my yoga studio roots into “Maryborough Property with Chelsie Dolfin.” I’d love nothing more than for you to stick around and continue this journey with me.

My time in yoga taught me so much about being present, listening deeply, and guiding people through life’s transitions—skills I’m now bringing into real estate. Because let’s be real: buying or selling a home is one of life’s big shifts. Whether it’s your first home, a downsizing move, a separation, or the passing of a loved one—these moments can feel overwhelming.

I’m here to help make that process feel more grounded and calm, with as little stress as possible. Just like we learned to breathe through the hard poses, I’ll be by your side helping you through each step—bringing clarity, compassion, and hopefully, a little ease to the process.

So thank you for following me here so far, and I hope you’ll continue to walk with me as I build this next chapter.

Let’s find the flow—on the mat or in the market.
With love,
Chelsie 💚
