🎡 Bendigo Show Fun!

ASTERIA participants had a fantastic, action-packed day at the Bendigo Show last Saturday! From exciting rides to exploring all the attractions, there was plenty of fun and laughter to go around.

ASTERIA will be hosting a Dinner Dance on Wednesday, 6th November, for participants and staff, and we are excited to invite community members to join us for the celebration.

The windy conditions didn’t deter the Friday fitness group today ~ instead it gave them team the perfect opportunity to head outside and fly some kites 🪁 Everyone had a great time and all kites survived the adventures

Tuesday craft programs had a thank-you afternoon tea this week. The first big thanks was for volunteer Val Peacock, who has supported us in the craft programs for over 5 years and is now leaving. We wish her all the best. Secondly, we also said a big thanks to artist Tiffany Titshall for assisting our ASTERIA artists in completing a fantastic 6-week art workshop.

Congratulations Cairelle on winning the colouring competition! There were so many beautiful entries to choose from. Kerrie organiser of the wonderful Goldfields Community Festival had a tough job. We hope everyone who visited had as much fun as we did!

Friday fitness group participants and staff made the most of the cleared-out training room—emptied in preparation for floor cleaning—by staging an impromptu game of indoor cricket.

Cheering and cries of “Howzat!” echoed throughout the site, as everyone got into the spirit of the game and had a fantastic time. 🏏
