LCA ANCA FRIENDSHIP CUP

Proud to share this inspiring initiative that reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusion, leadership, and empowerment for everyone.
From supporting women’s leadership in the workplace, delivering a range of wellbeing and development programs, to now seeing women confidently step out onto the field—this journey continues to grow and evolve.

It’s encouraging to see women’s cricket going beyond boundaries through collaboration with ANCA Adelaide Nepalese Cricket Association , South Australia Cricket , and the broader vision of Cricket Australia , creating pathways, confidence, and opportunities through sport.

At Livability Care Australia, we are proud to stand alongside initiatives that create real impact—whether in workplaces, health and wellbeing, or sport—supporting progress that brings people together and moves forward collectively.

Livability Care Australia would like to congratulate Cooper on the successful completion of his Life Story Book reading! 🎉

On Wednesday, December 3rd, our LCA team joined Cooper and his family for the special unveiling of his Life Story Book. It was the very first time they had seen it in print — a beautiful moment shared together. We are grateful to hear how happy everyone was with the final book.

A heartfelt thank you to University of South Australia Community Outreach Centre for your wonderful collaboration in bringing this meaningful project to life 💛📖.

To those in the know — thank you all for your patience!

Last Friday, our Encounter Bay homes came together for a special joint Christmas celebration with participants, teams, and families from both houses 🎄.

It was a wonderful time to share, mingle, and connect through our experiences — all in the spirit of Christmas. A perfect way to show our appreciation for everyone and the incredible work they’ve contributed over the past few months, whilst also enjoying the festive season together. It was amazing to see the smile on everyone’s face throughout the day.

A big thank you to our Encounter Bay team for putting together such a fantastic event 🎁😊.

Today, we proudly join the global community in celebrating the International Day of Disability.

The 2025 theme — “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress” — invites us to reflect on the importance of visibility, empowerment, and meaningful storytelling. And what better way to honour this message than by unveiling a project that celebrates the voices at the heart of our community?

We are thrilled to announce the public release of Round 2 of Livability Care Australia’s Life Stories Project!

This round introduces three extraordinary individuals — Simon, Sean, and Coope

Three different people, three different families, and three deeply personal journeys. Each story offers a unique perspective, a glimpse into lived experiences, and a reminder of the strength, love, and individuality present in every participant we support.

Their stories are now available to explore in full through our latest blog:

As we continue today’s celebrations, we’re also excited to mark a special moment for one of our featured participants — Cooper’s book launch!

Stay tuned for more photos and highlights from this meaningful event as we honour Cooper and his family later today.

Earlier this week, our Livability Care Australia Queensland team proudly hosted our first event in Caboolture — Inclusive Care for All-Abilities: Networking & Workshop!

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and contributed to the discussion. We were grateful to be joined by community partners, sector professionals, and individuals with lived experience who brought valuable insights, honesty, and passion to the table.

A special acknowledgement to our guest speakers and collaborators who helped shape the conversation and highlight the importance of accessible, inclusive care across Queensland: Genieve Abrahams (Cancer Council Queensland), Tamsyn Rose (Get Real Institute) and Liam (The DaV'ange Group).

In particular, a special thank you to Jaymi, our volunteer participant for the day!

Events like this remind us how powerful it is when community voices, organisations, and lived experience come together. Thank you again to everyone who made this first Caboolture event a meaningful and inspiring start — we look forward to continuing this journey with you. 💛

[SIL Vacancy] Morphett Vale, SA

Female | 1:2 or 1:3

3 Bed | 3 Bath - Ensuite | + Carers Room

We’re seeking a third housemate to join two lovely ladies at our Morphett Vale SIL home.

The other is in her 60s, verbal and cognitively able, and despite being immobile, loves crafts, travelling, TV shows, and gentle exercise, and is supported by her close-knit family. Together, they create a warm and welcoming environment and are looking forward to sharing their home with someone friendly and community-minded.
