The weather has been beautifully sunny this week — perfect for a bit of basketball, don’t you think?

Looking at these photos from left to right, it almost feels like a motion capture sequence of Simone showing off his amazing skills in action!

To all the incredible women in our community—your strength, compassion, and resilience continue to inspire us every day.

Happy International Women’s Day!

It may be a belated celebration, but the appreciation remains just as meaningful. At Livability Care Australia, we believe this day goes beyond a single date—it’s about recognising and celebrating women, today and every day.

As you can see, our celebrations took place in different ways and across different days, but what matters most is that everyone had the chance to enjoy and be part of it.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise and attend the celebrations—we hope it was a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all.

Livability Care Australia is proud to celebrate Brett as our March Employee of the Month for SA! 🎉

Extracted from the submission we received - Brett’s nomination speaks volumes about the kind of support he brings to his role every day. His consistent dedication to participants, genuine respect for their individual needs, and the way he encourages independence truly set him apart!

From this short but insightful piece, it’s clear that Brett approaches his work with care, empathy, and professionalism, and it’s wonderful to see those efforts recognised and appreciated by his team.

Congratulations, Brett – and thank you for the positive impact you continue to make! 👏

Good morning, everyone! ☀️

A little update from our Livability Care Australia team – it’s always great to see the connections within the LCA family. On 4th March, some of our staff got together to celebrate a housewarming hosted by our colleague, Sumit Jaiswal. It was a lovely chance to catch up and share the moment.

Moments like these are a nice reminder of how valuable it is to have people around you who support each other, and it’s wonderful to see that in action at LCA. 💚

Congratulations, Sumit, on your new home! 🏡

It’s just about 4 PM here in Adelaide – not sure about everyone else, but Sean’s food is looking absolutely delicious right now! 😋

Anyone feeling hungry might want to look away… because it looks (and probably tastes) incredible. Are we holding a party down there anytime soon? Please invite! 🎉

Happy Thursday everyone!

An update from our Queensland team — Livability Care Australia was proud to contribute to the two recent expos in Moreton Bay and Logan, hosted by the Disability Events Community (DEC), as both the Coffee and Event Sponsor respectively.

It was a fantastic day and a resounding success. It was wonderful to see so many people in attendance, coming together to connect, learn, and explore the supports available within their communities.

Events like these play an important role in helping individuals and families become more informed about the services around them, so they can identify the supports that best suit their needs.

A big thank you to the organisers and to our LCA team - Alina Runcan, Mark Acierto and Vicky Whiteway, who came along to make the day such a positive and meaningful event for the community.

Celebrating International Women’s Day!

Today, we proudly recognise the incredible women who help shape the heart of Livability Care Australia. Pictured here are the amazing women in leadership who help guide our organisation with compassion, dedication, and vision.

But today is about more than leadership — it is about every woman who plays a role in creating the supportive and caring environment our participants deserve. From our support workers and coordinators to the families, carers, and community members who walk alongside us, each person contributes to the quality care that defines our work.

Your strength, kindness, and commitment continue to inspire us every day.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the wonderful women in our community. 💐

Happy Monday Everyone!

Starting the week off with a vacancy update, Livability Care Australia is looking for a fourth housemate to join three lovely gentlemen at this Elizabeth SDA improved Liveability (built to HPS standard) SIL home.

Housemates(s)
We’re looking for a fourth housemate to join a current home shared by three gentlemen in their 50s and 60s. All are amazing individuals with social souls, each active in their own way. They enjoy spending time with their families, listening to music, going on outings, communicating and connecting with others, and one housemate has a particular interest in cars. The ideal housemate would be someone who enjoys shared living while still valuing their independence — friendly, respectful, and open to building positive relationships within the home. This is a warm, supportive environment for someone seeking stability, connection, and a place that genuinely feels like home.

Happy Thursday Everyone! 🌟

Please join Livability Care Australia in celebrating our February Participant of the Month – Dinh!

Does the background look familiar? You guessed it — it was captured at the recent Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival! ✨

This moment is a proud recognition of Dinh’s continued participation in his cultural celebrations and traditions. It’s always special to see him embracing his heritage and sharing those meaningful experiences with everyone around him. His presence, humour, and willingness to engage with others truly make each celebration that little bit brighter.

Congratulations, Dinh — we are so proud to celebrate you! 👏

✨ Celebrating Excellence – February 2026 Employee of the Month (SA & QLD) ✨

At Livability Care Australia, our team is at the heart of everything we do. This month, we are proud to recognise two incredible team members who truly embody our values in action.

🌟 SA – Mohammed

Mohammed sets the benchmark for what it means to lead with both heart and accountability. He approaches every shift with genuine compassion — not only supporting participants, but uplifting colleagues along the way. His strong sense of ownership and reliability ensures commitments are met, challenges are addressed proactively, and standards remain high.

What truly sets Mohammed apart is the way he empowers others. By sharing knowledge, encouraging growth, and leading by example, he fosters a culture built on trust, respect, and collaboration, and we are incredibly proud to have him representing LCA in South Australia.

🌟 QLD – Anitta

Anitta exemplifies what person-centred support truly looks like.

Her compassion is unwavering, and she consistently provides care with dignity, respect, and authenticity. What stands out most is her remarkable ability to see the person beyond the behaviour — responding with empathy, patience, and understanding in every interaction.

This quality is not only invaluable in her role, but life-changing for the participants she supports. Queensland is lucky to have her — and so are we.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Mohammed and Anitta for their outstanding contributions this month!
