You may have seen Gareth in the gym over the past couple of weeks, working alongside Jnr and some of our fighters. Here’s a little background on him, and what you can expect moving forward!

Next time you see him around, be sure to make him feel welcome, and don’t hesitate to pick his brain. He’s a wealth of knowledge and has a deep understanding of how effective boxing, defence and footwork can be applied to Muay Thai.

🚨 THIS WEEK 🚨

Satori X Phaya

We’re excited to welcome our good friends from as they head north to join us for sparring rounds to help our fighters prepare for our upcoming events.

📌 Friday Update:
Our usual 5:30pm Fundamentals Class will be cancelled this week only so all students can jump in and get quality rounds in ahead of our upcoming events.

📌 Saturday Sparring:
Class will run as normal at 7:00am, but will focus on sparring to make the most of Phaya’s visit and sharpen our team’s prep.

👀 Spectators and guests are always welcome—come support, learn, and enjoy the action!

MEET THE FACE BEHIND

For those who do not know me, my name is Nathan Jones, Founder of Muay Mend. With over 12 years of experience in Muay Thai and 42+ fights across various disciplines, I’ve dedicated my career to combat sports. Having been in the trenches and still being an active fighter, I know what it takes and the challenges athletes face. After overcoming numerous injuries with the help of a Remedial Massage therapist, who I am now fortunate enough to be mentored by, I pursued a Diploma in Remedial Massage to help others unlock their physical potential and perform at their best.

If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take your sport and recovery seriously to reach your untapped potential, send me a message to learn more about how I can help you.

The Significance Behind Our Name:

Muay: In Thai, “Muay” means boxing. This reflects the personal training aspect of our business, primarily catering to Muay Thai and boxing students and athletes. Our trainer and founder, Nathan Jones (), is an active professional Muay Thai fighter, embodying the essence of this discipline.

Mend: The term “mend” signifies setting things right, improving, and enhancing. It is a verb used to describe the repair of something that is broken, worn, torn, or damaged. This aspect pertains to our Remedial Massage services. Many of our clients seek our help for various ailments stemming from injuries, lifestyle factors, or fatigue. Our goal is to restore their well-being, enabling them to perform at their best in their chosen field. To preempt such issues, we also advocate for regular maintenance treatments to prevent ailments from arising.

At Muay Mend, we offer you the best of both worlds!
