Now that i have your attention!
Choosing abstinence has been one of the most profound and vulnerable decisions of my life, and it’s not something I usually share openly. But with self-empowerment comes the breaking down of societal conditioning and the release of shame that has long held me captive.
My journey towards abstinence has been monumental, marked by cycles of death and rebirth that have transformed me in ways I never imagined. I hardly recognize the person I was before. Getting here hasn’t been pretty; I’ve stumbled, made mistakes, and repeatedly hit my limit, finally screaming “ENOUGH!” at the patterns that no longer served me.
The first year of my choice was surprisingly easy on a physical level. I found solace in the fact that I didn’t want any man to touch me or invade my energy space. This isn’t a reflection of hatred towards men; rather, it was a deep-seated exhaustion from the disappointments they brought into my life. I realized that I was the one letting myself down, ignoring the inner voice that knew better yet still followed a familiar, destructive path.
During that first year, I dedicated myself to clearing my energy field, cleansing my body of the emotional weight and trauma accumulated from broken relationships. I honored my womb, nurturing it back to life, and released all the ties and chords that had attached themselves to my yoni. It was a powerful act of self-love and reclamation.
Purging and releasing what was never mine was exhausting. Yet, as I immersed myself in this process of renewal, I felt the layers of old pain shedding away. Before I knew it, a year had passed, filled with growth, healing, and an awakening of the true essence of my being.
This journey is not just about abstaining; it’s a commitment to myself, a promise to honor my spirit and reclaim my energy. It has been a path of self-discovery, one that I embrace wholeheartedly, even when the road gets tough. I share this part of my story to inspire anyone who might be on a similar path of transformation. You are not alone, and the journey is worth every moment.
