Bush Pods ~ Nature School

We offer meaningful nature connection and adventurous play that centres around holistic child development. Our unique outdoor programs are designed to spark imagination, curiosity, creativity and organic learning for all ages. We provide playful experiences for children to develop confidence, resilience, independence, self-awareness, and risk assessment skills through direct experiences with the natural world. Schandra Verzi, teacher and founder of Bush Pods ~Nature School, runs each program with a passion for getting children, parents and educators out into nature, in all weather, to experience wellbeing, fun, self confidence and life skills. Since 2020, we've been dedicated to providing enriching nature connection and play sessions for children and families on the Fleurieu Peninsula. As well as supporting schools and educators, in creating dynamic and impactful learning experiences for
students, that nurture a deep connection with the wonders of the world around us.

🪲Bush Kindy is a nurturing “Drop & Go” program for children aged 3.5–6 years, where independence blossoms through self-directed play and hands-on learning in nature. Children embrace healthy risk-taking, build resilience, and develop a strong sense of identity and community through collaboration and connection.

🪱Dates: Summer/Autumn ~ Term 1:
Every Tuesday & Thursday beginning February 3rd – April 7th (10 weeks)

💛Bush School offers nature-led, child-driven learning for ages 4–13 in a small, supportive Drop & Go setting. With two facilitators and mixed-age groups, children explore their interests, build confidence, and find belonging—where curiosity flourishes and nature inspires every adventure.
