🌿 A Gentle Daily Essential Oil Rhythm to Start your new year 💕

From waking to winding down 💫

One of the biggest shifts happens when essential oils stop being something we own… and start being something we live with.

You don’t need to use lots.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You just need a gentle rhythm that supports your body and nervous system throughout the day.

Here’s a simple way to weave your oils into real life — from morning to night 🤍

☀️ MORNING | Wake the body + mind gently

Before your feet even hit the floor:

• Take one deep inhale from a bottle like

Peppermint | Citrus Fresh | Lemon | Orange

Let your nervous system know: we’re awake now

Option:

Rub 1 drop into palms, cup hands, inhale slowly for 3 breaths

Then: Apply a grounding oil to your feet or wrists

Frankincense | Valor | Sacred Mountain

This helps your body feel steady before the day begins.

💡 Tip: Keep one oil on your bedside table so you don’t forget.

🚿 MORNING ROUTINE | Set the tone

In the shower:

• 2–3 drops of Eucalyptus or Lavender on the shower floor (not directly under the stream)

• Let the steam carry it through your body

Or after showering:

• Add oils to your moisturiser

Lavender for calm

Frankincense for skin + nervous system

Geranium for emotional balance

This turns “getting ready” into regulation.

🍋 MORNING FOCUS | Energy + clarity

Diffuse while making breakfast (dont forget your 60ml of Essential oil infused Ningxia Red )or heading out the door:

Peppermint + Lemon

Orange + Frankincense

Rosemary + Citrus Fresh

This supports focus, motivation, and mental clarity — without the crash.

If you’re on the go:

• Roller on wrists or back of neck

• One deep inhale before driving

🌿 MIDDAY | Reset the nervous system

This is where most people forget their oils — and need them most. I like to have another 60ml of Ningxia to help with energy & support my nervous system.

Midday support might look like:

• Stress Away or Peace & Calming on shoulders

• Frankincense on wrists

• One slow breath in… longer breath out

This tells your body: you’re safe, you don’t need to rush.

💡 Tip: Keep a roller in your bag or car.

🐾 AFTERNOON | Support for home + animals

Use oils to support your space:

• Diffuse Purification or Thieves to freshen the air

• Add oils to a spray bottle with water + vinegar for bench tops

For animals:

• Diffuse gently in open spaces

• Allow them choice — they’ll come closer or move away

• Lavender, Frankincense, Copaiba are often favourites

Oils support the whole environment, not just us.

🌅 EVENING | Shift out of “doing”

As the sun goes down, the body needs different signals.

Diffuse:

Lavender | Cedarwood | Stress Away | Valor

Apply oils to:

• Soles of feet

• Spine

• Heart space

This helps the nervous system transition from output to rest.

🌙 NIGHT | Sleep + repair

Before bed:

• Lavender or Peace & Calming on feet

• Frankincense on temples or crown

• One slow, intentional breath

You might even say quietly:

“Nothing else is needed tonight.”

This is where deep repair happens.

🤍 Remember

You don’t need to use every oil.

You don’t need a perfect routine.

Consistency is more powerful than quantity.

One oil used daily is better than ten used occasionally.

This is such a simple way to thrive this year and not just survive 💕

Let’s find Harley his forever Home 💕

PLEASE SHARE 🐶

This is Harley 🤍

Six months ago, Harley came into our lives as a rescue who was meant to be re-homed straight away.
But life had other plans.

Harley had come from a traumatic beginning and needed more than a quick transition — he needed time, safety, patience, training… and love. So we stepped in to give him that space to heal, decompress and learn what it means to be part of a family.

Now at 15 months old, Harley is ready for his next chapter.

He is a beautiful, athletic, high-energy dog with so much potential. He’s intelligent, sensitive, and eager — the kind of dog who will absolutely thrive with someone who has the time & patients to continue his training.

We’re looking for a home that understands that rescue dogs don’t come “broken” — they come unfinished.
A home with patience.
Consistency.
Kind leadership.
And plenty of movement, connection and love.
Hes very active , so a large property or farm woud be ideal. Harley has been around our horses & is good. He does love the water alot, so if your a water lover thats a bonus.

So if you feel that quiet nudge in your heart when you read this… or know someone who might be Harley’s person… please reach out & share , lets find Harley’s forever home 💕

Brain injuries, Post Concussion syndrome, brain fog, Chronic Fatigue (ME) fertility & More 😭

Brain & Low Tox

Here’s the honest truth (especially after a brain injury): your brain is doing repair work 24/7, and the last thing it needs is a daily chemical load from the air you’re breathing and the residue you’re touching.

Why “toxic” home products matter more with a brain injury

After a concussion / TBI / acquired brain injury, it’s really common to have:
• stronger reactions to smells and fumes
• headaches, dizziness, nausea, brain fog
• sleep disruption, mood changes, anxiety spikes

A big reason is that your nervous system can be more “irritable” and your brain is already working harder to regulate inflammation, blood flow, sensory input, and energy use. So when you add irritant chemicals into the mix, symptoms can feel louder and recovery can feel slower (even if you can’t “prove” it on a test).

What the chemicals can do to your brain (and body)

A lot of conventional cleaners, air fresheners, fragranced sprays, disinfectant mists, and “heavy-duty” products release volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—gases that evaporate into your indoor air. The kicker: VOC concentrations can be higher indoors than outdoors.

Known short-term VOC effects include:
• headaches, nausea, loss of coordination, irritation
and at higher exposures, effects on the central nervous system.

Some common “problem children” in the home environment include:
• Solvents (can have direct CNS effects—think dizziness/headache at exposure)
• Fragrance mixtures (often undisclosed blends that can include VOCs)
• Aerosols and sprays (deliver more into the air you breathe)
• Strong disinfectants/bleach

There’s also growing evidence that indoor air pollutants (including VOCs and fine particles) can contribute to systemic inflammation and, in broader air-pollution research, pathways like neuroinflammation are a major concern for brain health.
(Important nuance: not every low-level exposure has proven direct brain effects in every person—but when someone is vulnerable, it’s sensible to reduce exposure where you can.)

Cleaning products can seriously change indoor air.

These also effect your Pets 😭

Research reviews note that using cleaning/disinfectant products increases exposure to indoor chemical contaminants and particulate matter, and occupational exposure is linked with respiratory risks.
And even consumer reporting on the science has highlighted that many cleaning products can emit hundreds of VOCs—including hazardous ones—especially in poorly ventilated spaces.

Why this matters during recovery (practically)

CDC recovery guidance for mild TBI emphasizes reducing things that can worsen symptoms and supporting your body’s recovery routines (sleep, gradual activity, avoiding substances that slow recovery).

While they don’t list “cleaners” specifically, the principle is the same: stack the environment in your favor—lower sensory triggers, improve sleep, reduce inflammatory inputs, and keep your nervous system calmer.

What to do instead (low-tox home = low-tox air)

If you want a simple, brain-recovery-friendly approach:

1) Ditch the “constant synthetic fragrance”
• Air fresheners, plug-ins, fragranced candles, scented laundry boosters.

These are often ongoing VOC sources. Prioritise fresh air + ventilation when possible. Indoor air quality guidance (including here in Australia) highlights VOCs (like formaldehyde) as an indoor pollutant category.

2) Swap sprays for wipes/foams (less airborne)
• The more you aerosolise, the more you inhale.

3) Clean smart, disinfect with a plant based cleaner
• Soap + water does a lot for day-to-day.
• Choose plant based cleaners for illness/high-risk situations.

4) Ventilation is non-negotiable
• Open windows/doors when cleaning.
• Use exhaust fans.
• If using any stronger product: ventilate during + after.

5) Choose products with transparency
Look for:
• full ingredient disclosure
• Synthetic fragrance-free options

Where Thieves fits in (Young Living)

If you’re choosing to go low-tox, plant-based, non-aerosol cleaning options can be a helpful swap because you’re often reducing:
• harsh solvent load
• overpowering synthetic fragrance exposure
• lingering chemical residues in your living space.

Young Living’s Thieves household range is a popular “one-swap” system people use to simplify and reduce the number of harsh products under the sink. The key benefit here isn’t that it “treats” a brain injury—it’s that it can help you reduce chemical exposures and scent triggers in your environment while you recover.

Start 2026 creating your Low Tox home & see the difference 💕

2026 — Year of the Horse ✨

The Year of the Horse is about freedom, confidence, movement, leadership, and creative power.
It’s about stepping out of hesitation… and into your truth.

Horses don’t shrink.
They don’t dim their light.
They move with purpose, instinct, and deep inner knowing.

And this is the energy we’re being invited into in 2026.

Essential oils are such a beautiful support for this year because they work on more than just the physical body — they support our emotions, confidence, nervous system, creativity, and sense of self.

When we use oils intentionally, they help us:
• release fear and self-doubt
• feel grounded and safe in our body
• reconnect with our intuition
• step into confidence and personal power
• open creativity and inspiration
• move forward with clarity and momentum

Some of my favourite Young Living blends for the Year of the Horse 🐎✨

🌿 Believe
For confidence, courage, and trusting yourself.
Perfect for moments when you’re ready to step up but fear tries to hold you back.

🌿 Abundance
For expansion, prosperity, and receiving more.
This oil supports the mindset of “I am worthy of more” — not just financially, but in life.

🌿 Gratitude
For grounding, heart-opening, and presence.
Gratitude keeps us anchored while we grow — just like a horse that’s powerful yet calm.

🌿 Motivation
For drive, momentum, and follow-through.
Beautiful for those days when you know what you want, but need help taking the next step.

🌿 Valor
For bravery and nervous system support.
One of my go-to oils for courage and feeling safe to be seen.

✨ Ways to use these oils in 2026 ✨
• Diffuse them in the morning to set the tone for your day
• Apply over the heart or wrists before work, meetings, or creative time
• Use during meditation or journaling to connect with intention
• Wear as a natural “energetic perfume”
• Use before exercise or movement to embody strength and flow
• Pair with affirmations and breathwork
• Use around horses and animals (they respond so deeply to this energy)

This year isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about embodying who you already are.

Just like a horse — powerful, intuitive, free, and deeply connected.

If you feel called to move into 2026 with more confidence, creativity, and alignment, essential oils can be a beautiful daily ritual to support you on that journey.

✨ You don’t need to become someone new.
✨ You just need to remember who you are.

If you’d like help choosing oils for your own Year of the Horse, or learning how to use them intentionally, I’d love to support you 🤍🐎
