Let’s discuss beef tallow because most of you who use it are smelling like a butcher shop for no reason.

Beef tallow is being pushed as a natural skin fix for hydration but natural doesn’t automatically mean it should go on your skin.

99.9% of the time NATURAL ingredients actually are not recognised by the skin because it’s had not been made by the human body. Yes, there is science to back this.

There has been cases of huge histamine responses from natural products because technically anything not made by us is a foreign body.

Now tallow is heavy and it sits on the sits which can make your dead skin cells feel great however is you are acne or congestion prone this will become a nightmare.

Because tallow is heavy and acts as a barrier it’s physically can not pe*****te the skin to hydrate it….. so really all your doing is making the dead skin cells feel great while the rest of your skin that is alive and functioning suffer.

Just because something is great when we digest it doesn’t mean it should be applied to your skin.

This is something I see everyday in clinic.
You are buying the skincare
Your booking a treatment every now and then
Your following all the influencers with great skin

But YOUR skin still feels the same with no change.

Understanding skin is a science and it doesn’t mean you are bad at looking after it, you just don’t have a tailored plan suited for your individual skin needs because no 2 skin types, conditions or even people are the same.

One treatment won’t fit it.
Switching products every 3-4 weeks is definitely not helping.

Our skin responds to consistency just like when our body responds to diet and exercise changes.

When you stop guessing and start looking beneath the surface of your skin….
