Your spine isn’t designed to be protected by avoiding movement — it’s designed to move well, often, and in many different ways.

In the clinic, a big part of what we do is help people restore and maintain healthy spinal motion.

That means working through different ranges, improving control, and making sure the spine can handle the demands of everyday life, training, and sport.

When spinal movement is limited, the body finds other ways to compensate. Over time, that’s when stiffness, overload, and recurring pain tend to show up.

Our goal at LHP isn’t short term relief. It’s building spinal health that supports you long term — so you can keep lifting, running, working, playing, and living without constantly managing flare ups.

Movement plus the right care equals resilience. That’s how we help you build a body that lasts đŸ’Ș

Pain relief is only part of the picture 👇

In chiropractic care, exercise prescription isn’t just an “extra” — it’s a key part of keeping pain from coming back.

💊Think of your exercises like medication:
‱ The movement = the medicine
‱ Sets & reps = the dose
‱ Frequency = how often you take it

đŸ’ȘIf the dose is too low, nothing changes.
If it’s too high or taken at the wrong time, it can flare things up.
When it’s prescribed properly, your body adapts, gets stronger, and becomes more resilient.

💆Hands-on treatment can calm pain and restore movement, but exercise is what teaches your body to hold onto those gains. It improves strength, control, and load tolerance — so everyday life doesn’t keep triggering the same issue.

That’s how we move from “feeling better” to staying better.

Dealing with plantar fasciitis? You’re not alone.

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain we see in the clinic — especially in runners, people on their feet all day, and anyone ramping up training or workload too quickly.

It’s not just a “tight foot” problem. It’s often a load tolerance issue, where the plantar fascia can’t keep up with the demands being placed on it.

Here you can see Kobi using shockwave therapy, a non invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate healing in the plantar fascia, reduce pain, and improve tissue function.

We don’t stop there. Managing plantar fasciitis properly usually means addressing strength, mobility, and biomechanics higher up the chain as well.

If heel pain has been hanging around longer than it should, it’s worth getting it checked early — the sooner you act, the quicker the turnaround.

A little snapshot of the variety we see in the clinic 👀

Today alone we treated a runner, someone with jaw pain, and a stubborn case of plantar fasciitis.

And yep — we love backs
but that’s only part of the picture.

At LHP we work with all kinds of people and all kinds of issues, from sports injuries to everyday aches, movement problems, and everything in between.

If something’s been bothering you and you’re not sure if we’re the right fit, chances are — we are.

Why your alignment isn’t important (most of the time) đŸ©»

Your body isn’t meant to be perfectly symmetrical — variation is normal.
Small imbalances, leg length differences, natural spinal curves, even having one foot slightly bigger than the other
 that’s just being human.

Most of the time, your body functions really well with these differences. They only become an issue when they’re significant or when your body can’t adapt to the load you’re putting through it.

So instead of chasing “perfect alignment,” focus on how well your body moves, loads, and recovers.
And if you’re unsure whether something you’ve noticed could be contributing to pain or recurring issues, that’s where we come in.

đŸ“Č Book an appointment and let’s take a proper look 👀no guesswork, just good assessment and a plan that suits your body.

Kicking off 2026 with a quick re intro and a few things you may or may not know about me 👋

🚹 The biggest tendon myth I hear in clinic
“Tendons just need time and rest.”

Here’s the truth 👇
Tendons do NOT heal with time and rest.
In fact, the longer you wait, the longer tendinopathy tends to hang around.

Tendons need the right stimulus to heal. That means progressive loading, targeted strength work, and addressing the mechanics that caused the issue in the first place.

Rest alone might settle symptoms short term, but it doesn’t rebuild tendon capacity. And that’s why pain keeps coming back when you return to activity.

If you’re dealing with a stubborn tendon that just won’t settle
it’s time to take action, not wait it out.

đŸ“Č Book in with us at LHP and let’s get your tendons stronger, more resilient, and ready for the long term đŸ’Ș

Do your running shoes pass this checklist?

If you’re getting into running (or coming back to it), the right shoe can make all the difference — comfort, performance, injury prevention
it all starts at your feet.

In today’s reel I’m running you through a few key features to look for when you’re buying your first pair of running shoes.

The best part?We now stock Tarkine Auto Pilot shoes in clinic — so if you want to get fitted properly and feel the difference for yourself, come in and try a pair on.

Your feet (and future runs) will thank you 🙌

This tiny tool tells us EVERYTHING about your strength

This little device you’ll see in the reel is called a Dynamometer, and it’s one of the most powerful tools we use in the clinic.

Why?
Because it gives us real, accurate data on how strong each muscle group is
and more importantly, where things might be out of balance.

Here’s what we use it for:
đŸ”č Spotting strength imbalances that could be causing pain
đŸ”č Tracking progress during rehab so you know you’re improving
đŸ”č Measuring toe strength — an often overlooked factor in runners with foot + lower limb issues
đŸ”č Helping us build a treatment plan that’s actually tailored to you

Most people are surprised when we test their toes
but weak toe strength is one of the biggest hidden contributors to running niggles. đŸŠ¶âšĄ

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing lower limb pain or you’re a runner wanting to level up your performance, this assessment is a game changer.

đŸ“Č Send us a message if you want your strength properly tested — not guessed.
Let’s get you moving better, stronger, and pain free.
