September is national prostate cancer awareness month. Prostate cancer is the most common diagnosed cancer among men aged 50+ in Australia.

1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and 9 in 10 men survive this disease five years from diagnosis. Sadly, up to 3,000 Australian men will lose their battle to this disease every year.

Symptoms can include:
- Frequent urination
- Difficulty urinating
- Weaker than normal stream
- Urgent and sudden need to urinate
- Blood in urine or semen

Gentlemen, if you have a family history of prostate cancer or would like to speak to your GP for more information regarding symptoms, detection or any other questions you may have.

Today is Daffodil Day 🌼 Daffodil Day is Cancer Council's most iconic and much loved fundraising campaign.

On this day, Australians all over the country come together and, for all that cancer takes, the Cancer Council gives hope. They give to support people impacted by cancer and they give to support cancer research that will save lives.

In 2024, Australians gave a bunch for Daffodil Day, raising over $3.3 million towards lifesaving cancer research. We know that almost 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, so it takes all of us to give hope for better treatments and better outcomes. The more hope we give, the more lives we can save.

• Assist with clinic operations and staff management
• Be the go-to when the Practice Manager is away
• Lead reception desk operations
• Provide exceptional patient service
• Help manage finances and resolve issues

✔️ Medical reception experience (essential)
✔️ Leadership, time management & multitasking skills
✔️ Clear, confident communication
✔️ Able to manage staff and escalate issues when needed

Standard Appointment Fees:
• Brief Consult (Level A) – from $65
• Standard Consult (Level B) – from $85
• Long Consult (Level C) – from $150
• Extended Consult (Level D) – from $200

Telehealth Fees:
• In Hours – $85
• After Hours – $115

Weekend & Public Holiday Rates Apply
(Saturdays from 1pm, all day Sundays & public holidays)

Specialised Services Available:
• IUD Insertion – $285
• Iron Infusion – $232.90
• Mental Health Care Plans – $160
• Skin Checks – from $160
• Drivers Medical – from $150 -$200
• Excisions – $150–$500 (out of pocket)

Walk-In Appointments: $50 fee applies

Medical Record Transfers: Fee will be advised at time of receiving request
