LCD Lifestyle Group is an NDIS registered provider of community and in-home supports including - personal care, social support, accessing the community, transport to medical appointments, domestic assistance and in-home support.
We pay in accordance with the SCHADS award (community service), plus kilometres. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
If you have the following:
* Current NSW Driver’s licence
* Current NDIS Worker Screening,
* Current WWCC
* Current first aid certificate
* Current Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
* Experience in aged care and/or disability
* Experience in the use of manual handling equipment e.g. manual hoist
* Must be able to work between 6am and 8pm and alternate weekends.

Here's a little bit of information around DVA and what services we can offer:

Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA) funding provides in home nursing with a focus on assisting you to continue living independently by supporting your health, wellbeing and community connection.

*Are Veteran Gold Card and Veteran White Card holders eligible?

If you or your loved one has represented Australia in active military service, you may be eligible to receive Community Nursing Services. Eligibility applies to: · Department of Veteran's Affairs clients who have a Gold Card. The Gold Card is also known as a Veteran Gold Card or a Repatriation Health Card for all conditions. · Department of Veteran's Affairs clients who have a White Card. The White Card is also known as the Veteran White Card needs pre approval by DVA for any services.

*How do I get services?

Referral from an authorized referral service:

- General Practitioner (GP)

- Treating medical practitioner in a hospital

- Hospital discharge planner

- Nurse practitioner specializing in a community nursing field

*What services can I get?

The Department of Veterans Affairs services that are available are:

In-Home Nursing

In-home nursing provides clinical nursing and/or personal care services in your home delivered by registered nurses, enrolled nurses and support staff.

*Would you like to know more about community nursing services through DVA?

In most cases, to be eligible to receive community nursing services for an assessed clinical need, an entitled person must hold either a Gold Card or a White Card. We’ve been out and about with one of our clients, supporting him as he combines two of his passions — photography and staying active! He’s been capturing some fantastic shots while exploring Newcastle and getting in some great exercise along the way.

It’s always a privilege to see our clients doing what they love!

One of our clients has been making the most of her time recently — enjoying hydrotherapy sessions, spending time at the Living Smart Festival, taking peaceful walks through local gardens, being silly with her support workers and joining in on fun and engaging group activities with CDAH.

It’s been a joy to see her so active and involved in the community!
