Now we’re talking. Things are going very well, and you’re experiencing true growth- this is a destiny ride you were meant to take, and while it’s had a bumpy start, this venture could end being a winner. You may actually be questioning aspects of your life at the moment - at the very least, you’re dreaming of wider pastures, pirate ships with b***y, imports and exports, and becoming a force to be reckoned with. You may wish to trade with people, too- if you establish the right kind of business, with enough generosity, the good karma points you’ll be earning will see you through. Destiny is a trip.

5 of Swords~ Challenges, Problems
While everything looks bleak at the moment, remember that everybody has times like this. So now it’s your turn– well, welcome to the learning curve, my friend. This is actually quite inspiring-this is when you can start to take real control of your life. It’s all too easy to feel and be marvellous when things are going well – but it’s these tougher times that make you strong. Meditate, keep calm, and take what action you can-and bash a pillow, not other people, when you feel furious. Things are going to change – you can bet on it. The question is, will you leave this time a better person? Now, that’s one question that you, and only you, can determine the answer to. In other words, it’s your life – if you don’t like it, work on changing it. If you can’t change it, work on changing how you feel about it.

Whoosh! Was that the sound of the angel of ideas zooming by, or did a gigantic gift just drop out of the sky and land on your doorstep? Maybe it was both. After all, this is a time of major opportunity , and this time around, your soul’s telling you there’s something about this that you simply must go with. So, thankfully, the Universe has also seen to it that you’ll have the necessary energy to undertake this brilliant new direction. You’ll be resourceful, clever, inventive, and creative (check out the Magician card for a little more insight). You can fly, really, when this card shows up. You can hit this one out of the park-and you may also be able to take all your loved ones on this inspiring ride with you, too. This card is a message from the Universe asking you to please not worry so much. Everything is going to be okay. The Universe is saying that it does have wonderful things in store for you, and that this time will pass. Beating yourself up will only decrease your capability to move forward-and you know when you wake up in the middle of the night feeling like the world is crumbling about you that despair seems the only sensible emotion. You are in pain. This will pass if you: Get enough sleep. Eat well. Be with people who love you. Stay away from people who love you. Stay away from people who hurt you. Remember, like Scarlet O’Hara, that tomorrow is another day.

There is a split between your reason and your desire at present- and longing will not bring what you ache for any closer, sadly. Pay attention to your dreams under the influence of this card: they will be brilliant with symbols, and wiser than your waking thoughts. While moonlight’s magical, it is also difficult to see clearly under its silvery light: there are many shades of silver and grey. Take very good care of yourself,withdraw if you need to, and be wary of making decisions at present. This is a time for dreams and magic, and a little solitude- not a time to take these ideas into the world.

It’s time to let go of many things: and some of this process may be difficult and even painful. Yet dead wood must be cut from the tree for it to grow strong, and these current changes will let the new you begin to thrive in place of your old self. There are actions and people from the past whom are being gently let go of. This does not mean that you need to be cold or cruel - it’s simply best to release them. Soon enough the purpose of this process-difficult as it is- will become clear, and you will understand that in order to grow and bloom anew, this process and the energy it created was destiny working its magic. You find yourself in a position of some power at the moment- and with the energy to drive home new projects, express your opinions, and influence everything about you. You may find yourself reacting in an extreme fashion, feeling enormous stress, fretting and straining under the pressure, yet succeeding against all odds. Watch your temper. Whether you are normally mild or actually quite a feisty person, you will be tempted to indulge in outbursts at this time. If you go overboard right now, you may not like how you feel tomorrow.
