Congratulations to everyone who came out to walk, run or wade today in the rain.

Great turn out - 136 participants in perfect running conditions today. Thanks from the NPL team for coming along!

Newport Lakes parkrun

1 November 2025

This week 89 people ran, jogged and walked the course whom 13 were first timers and 12 recorded new Personel Bests. Repersentives of 22 different clubs took part.

This event was made possible by 11 Volunteers.

How good is parkrun!!! The sun was shining, 12 first timers; 18 PB's; 1 x 10, 1 x 25, 1 x 50 & 2 x 100 milestone runners (you know who you are - if you didn't realize check below); & our female course record was broken for the second week in a row (this time by 3 seconds) - a big congratulations to Janae Mackrell!!!

As always thanks to our wonderful volunteers Sandra Browne, Aaron McAleese, Teresa Attley, Magdalena Umbach, Marlene Morison, Rhys Kilian, Tessa Marshall, Stuart ONeil & Cat Muir for enabling you all to run.
