CARD 9. Pursue Your Dreams

Have the courage to ask for your deepest desires. Tell the Universe your dearest wish and trust that you have been heard. If you have been holding a wish in your heart, waiting for it to come true, the time has come to make it happen. You may notice synchronicities, signs and opportunities arise for you - act on them. You are guided and supported on your quest to manifest your dreams. Follow your intuition and know the Universe has your best interests at heart.

You may find it difficult
to accept the blessings coming into your life or feel intimidated by the changes you are asked to accept. Even the manifestation of our dreams can be intimidating if the change is big enough. Be reassured that acceptance takes time. You will get used to the new and begin to embody it as a natural reflection of yourself.

Expect an inflow of energy as you continue to grow and manifest blessings. Use your enthusiasm and energy to create meaningful change that feels aligned with you. You may notice yourself dismissing ideas and dreams out of habit or fear. Such a response may have been justified in the past, but no longer. Pay no attention to hesitation and self-doubt. Let these emotions pass. Accept the blessings that being brave and dreaming big bring to you.

Affirmation

I am courageous enough to express my wishes and open enough to accept them. My past does not determine my future. My thoughts, words and actions are aligned with the Universe. I choose to pursue my dreams.

WEIGHED DOWN

This card asks you to let go of internal baggage that may be weighing you down. Take only the lessons and gifts of the past into your present. Go with a grateful heart. Let go of your worries for the future. Trust that all you need to thrive in the future will be revealed to you as you need it. Free yourself from the burden of carrying around such a heavy load. Navigate life with a lightness of being, open heart and expectations of delight. You will feel energised when you open yourself up to explore.

Regularly declutter your mind to ensure you are not weighed down by unnecessary baggage. Ask yourself, “Is this thought, practice, hobby or habit helping me? Do I need to carry it right now, or would I be better off without it?” This process of checking in can help you let go of anything that is unnecessary and allow for an uncluttered mental state and a lighter being.

Affirmation:

All that I need will come to me as needed. I let go of what is no longer serving me and travel lightly through life.

This card encourages you to accept opportunities for freedom in your life. Have you been holding yourself
back from pursuing a lifestyle, hobby or career out of fear of rejection? Have you been putting aside your dreams and desires to embody the ideals of another? Do not feel beholden to the opinions of others. Those who ostracise or reject you for what speaks to your soul are not worthy of your time or energy. In time, they may come to accept the you who lives in freedom, or they may not. Acceptance from those who share your ideals and interests is far more valuable.
Release your desire for perfection and acceptance to the Universe and embrace freedom. It is time to be wholly yourself. Let go and lean in with trust.

Affirmation
I am free when I let go of all I am expected to be. All I must be is who I truly am.

Whether you’re single or in a relationship, Valentine’s Day is pretty hard to ignore at this time of year. Wherever you look, shop windows and shelves groan with cards and chocolates, hearts and flowers...
But there’s a much more important love than the romantic kind you might feel for a significant other – and that’s the love you feel for yourself.
Loving yourself isn’t about being a narcissist. It’s about treating yourself with compassion. After all, who understands the journey that made you the person you are today better than you?

CARD 18. LIVE & LEARN

The path to mastery is paved with mistakes. Though initiation may be a struggle, know that you are laying foundation stones to make the journey ahead smoother.

Whether you are in the process of learning a new skill, turning a hobby into a career, taking a leap of faith in a relationship, or moving up a level in the professional world, know that growing pains are part of the process.

This card asks you to enjoy the process of growth and let go of resistance. Do not be afraid of change. Take the necessary steps to let go of what no longer serves you to embrace a vision of a new future.

Enjoy laying the foundations of your new future or project, even if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. There is joy to be found in the learning process if you would only let it in.

Instead of lingering on what was, open to what will be. Look to your future with positivity and embrace the excitement of the endless possibilities ahead of you.

Life is less about the destination and more about the journey. Embrace the parts that don’t look exactly as you imagined. Reminisce fondly about the past but refuse to dwell on it. Reflect on what you learned and endeavour to apply these lessons in your next project.

Wounds and scars acquired along the path of mastery are what make your journey unique. They are reminders of your perseverance and resilience. See the perfection in your imperfections and be proud of your progress. You have come so far and have a long way to go.

8. Growth

Sometimes life trips us up. On the path to success, we will inevitably meet obstacles. Setbacks are essential to growth. If we are never challenged, we will never rise.
This card encourages you to slip ‘up’ by growing through challenges and seeing them as a chance to expand your abilities, knowledge and understanding. Don’t get tripped up by the pressure to perform perfectly. Your inner critic is often louder and harsher than the comments of others. Be kind to yourself in
failure. See it as an important growth opportunity and move on to the next challenge.

Repeat the following affirmation three times or until you feel confident and reassured:
Slowing my thoughts and becoming present helps me rise with strength, ready to face life with openness and love.
