Calling for EOFY Donations!!

There are only a few days left to make your contribution count this end of financial year!

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the help of others to ensure we can keep supporting individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives and to experience life every day!

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING

Disability Support Worker Positions available to work with our female client based in Beaumaris, Victoria.

We encourage you to apply from surrounding areas as well.

We need to fill 2 shifts each day through our amazing not-for-profit agency, 9am-1pm and 4pm-7pm. (Monday to Sunday.) This means you MUST be willing to come on board with us here at Experience Life.

Duties will include but are not limited to: cooking, domestic duties and community access and support.

Required:
NDIS Screening Check
First Aid
CPR

We are looking for people with a great personality, willingness to learn and to form a great relationship/bond with our client, in other words we want you here for the long haul!

The Hills MS peer support group update time!

As you can see the group is growing! This week was an amazing catch up, meeting new friends and sharing stories.

Our People and Culture Manager Chelsea thoroughly enjoys going with her support worker Kim and looks forward to it every month.

The catch ups will continue to be held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and if this is something you may be interested in we encourage you to go down and join them for the next one.

A supportive group can be the difference.

💜 International Women’s Day! 💜

An important day on our calendar especially with our kick ass, all women ops team here at Experience Life!

This year’s theme is ‘Rights. Equality. Empowerment.’

Celebrated on the 8th of March for over 100 years, it is a day to celebrate women around the world and their achievements.

In many ways, women have more power and opportunities than ever before, however in some parts of the world, gender-based issues including discrimination and violence are more pressing than ever.

Australia has made wonderful progress! The gender pay gap is less than it has been on average (but still there) and we have more women in parliament than ever before, but despite this amazing progress many issues still remain.

So do your research and support your women peers.

Let’s continue to close the gap for our daughters and to show them that women kick ass!

Further to our ad for a support worker in Officer the other day we now are also looking for a support workers for a Rowville client every Tuesday 2-5pm as well as for our client in San Remo with multiple shifts available (days, afternoons, evenings, overnights).
