Bird Week is held to coincide with the mass migration of magpie geese, which flock to billabongs such as Yellow Water (Ngurrungurrudjba), to feed. With the waters having receded towards the end of the dry season, there is no better time to witness not just the birdlife, but Kakadu’s full array of exotic animals, including crocodiles, buffalo, brumbies and wallabies.⠀

A highlight of this year’s festival will be sunset Yellow Water Cruises, led by NT Bird Specialists’ renowned ‘twitcher’ Luke ‘Hawk Eye’ Paterson, who will provide expert commentary on three Yellow Water Cruises sunset voyages from Sunday 26 to Tuesday 28 September.⠀

Extended discounted registrations expire on 17th Sept for ICD2021!! I was trying to watch another congress last night but there was only one medical channel and nothing interesting about the country it was broadcast from. I had to wait until 8.30pm for it to be broadcast for me.
Unlike that, ICD2021 is on a rolling 24 h platform with talks on demand after they have been broadcast AND we will have professional videos with music about the unique places, culture, flora and fauna of Australia inbetween sessions to entertain you and 2 rolling channels.
