This two-day course will cover Principles of treatment and practical applications so that the attendee will be able to implement the use of cranial osteopathy into their practice immediately. We will cover assessment and treatment of the cranial base, cranial vault, cranial base strains patterns, the reciprocal tension membrane, management of the cerebrospinal fluid and cranial osteopathy for infants and children.
Each area will be covered by a short presentation followed by a practical session.
There will be limited places for this course to allow for interactive involvement and support by the faculty members.

Over the past 3 days I attended an osteopathic course on the stomatognathoc system including, TMJ, dental and tongue disorders presented by the incredible osteopath and teacher Dr Paulo Tozzi from Rome. The breadth and depth of his knowledge was outstanding. He’s humble nature and joy in sharing his knowledge was palpable. Dr Tozzi works all over the world presenting and sharing his expertise and is booked up until 2027. Having a mix of practitioners there including osteopaths, other body workers, dentist, dental therapist and ENT surgeon was wonderful. Experiencing this course with other practitioners who I collaborated with was such an honor. This is the further of medicine, collaboration at its best.
After deep discussions with Dr Paolo Tozzi’s I have asked him to come to present this course and possibly more in Melbourne. We are looking at a time in November 2026 if all can be arranged. Feeling very blessed and grateful as I head home from Japan back to my lovely family for Christmas! What a way to end the year!!!

Our noses are incredible! This is just three fabulous things that it does for our incredible bodies. Always breathe through the nose! if your child is not breathing through their nose most of the time, then this should be assessed and checked by someone who understands airway health.

Very excited when I get a message from a dentist and orofacial myologist like this:

I wanted to reach out to say a big THANKYOU!
For some time, the family have been struggling to get the K2 myobrace to stay in all night, despite their best efforts completing all the recommended OM + breathing exercises, consistent daytime + nighttime wear and wearing the sleepystrip to sleep.
They noted that after their recent appointment with you, the myobrace stayed in all night that night and (patient’s) blocked nose resolved allowing the myobrace to stay in all night from then on. The myobrace even stayed without the tape recently!

For those that are new here, here’s a little bit about me:
I am a cranial Osteopath, breathing educator and orofacial myologist. I have been practicing for 21 years. I love treating a wide range of patients, but have a particular focus in pediatrics, TMJ disorders, craniaofacial pain, tongue tie, breathing disorders, sleep apnea, cranial facial development and how it relates to the airway, and dental malocclusion.
I love working collaboratively with dentists in the Myofunctional dental space.
I love working with kids and babies.
I love presenting and teaching.
I love yoga and camping in remote areas with no reception.
I have three boys and learnt so much from them being a mother and got many things wrong.
I love my life and am very grateful to live in beautiful Australia.

It such a pleasure treating the little people that come into our practice!
Did you know osteopathy can help with and so much more? We have so many lovely babies coming into our practice for support and it’s often the highlight to my day. This little bubba was so chilled out for the whole session, sometimes we treat babies while they or bottle feeding but this little man just blissed out for the whole treatment 💕

Over the last three days, I was lucky enough to go to an osteopathic course presented by Dr. Paolo Tozzi from Rome. It was the most wonderful presentation on the fascias of the whole body and how to treat all the different components of the body through the fascial systems right down to a cellular level. Dr. Tozzi was such an inspiration and I feel so lucky to call myself and Osteopath, especially when we have like him in our field, teaching such incredible techniques and theory. I look forward to implementing these fascial techniques on my patients, but particularly in addressing , , maxillary facial, compressions and much much more. Feeling so . It was wonderful having dental colleagues learning about the fascia along side us 🥰

5 min daily breathwork practice was shown to be more effective than mindfulness meditation for improving mood and reducing anxiety.

A randomised, controlled study of three different daily 5-min breathwork exercises compared an equivalent period of mindfulness meditation over 1 month. The breathing practices were:
(1) cyclic sighing, which emphasises prolonged exhalations;
(2) box breathing, which is equal duration of inhalations, breath retentions, and exhalations; and
(3) cyclic hyperventilation with retention, with longer inhalations and shorter exhalations.

The study showed improvement in mood and anxiety as well as a reduction in physiological arousal (respiratory rate, heart rate, and heart rate variability).

It was shown that breathwork, especially the exhale-focused cyclic sighing, produced greater improvement in mood and reduction in respiratory rate compared with mindfulness meditation.

Daily 5-min cyclic sighing has promise as an effective stress management exercise.
