We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer!

On Thursday the 26th of September the team at Blooms The Chemist Essendon will be wearing their footy colours to raise awareness for kids with cancer.

Every year more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. With treatment starting instantly they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.

This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids!

All the money we raise funds Fight Cancer Foundation's education support programs which help kids with cancer keep up with school while they receive and recover from treatment.

Please donate what you can and help make a difference to the lives of kids with cancer!

Welcome Georgie our new pharmacist manager!

Georgie grew up in rural NSW before moving to Melbourne to complete her pharmacy degree at Monash, which is where she fell in love with Melbourne, its people and coffee of course!

When asked why she loves pharmacy her answer is always "because I love the opportunity to help my community" There is nothing Georgie loves more than interacting with customers and you will always be able to locate her in the pharmacy by listening out for her giggle.

Georgie has been apart of the Blooms group for over a year, spending majority of her time at Blooms The Chemist Daylesford.

Georgie is excited to get to know the close community of Essendon and build on the great foundations of our store.

We are so lucky to have Georgie join our team and we can't wait to see what the future holds for our pharmacy!
