What🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Yarra Care has made it to the finalists in the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! 🎉 Tonight, our very own .mohkamkar is attending the event, and we’re all super excited to see what happens. Whether we take home the award or not, making it this far is already a huge achievement for our team.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that drives Yarra Care every day. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and grateful for all the support from our amazing team, clients, and community.

We had another fantastic cooking session, whipping up some delicious dairy-free cupcakes! 🎂 After our previous session making chicken noodle soup, our clients are really starting to embrace the joy of cooking. There’s nothing quite as delicious as food made with love, and it’s wonderful to see everyone getting more enthusiastic about culinary adventures.

This afternoon, we tackled bed-making. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re making progress. Can’t wait for our next session where we’ll nail the quickest and easiest way to change duvet covers! Practice makes perfect. 🛏️💪

今天我们的cooking session是做无奶版的纸杯蛋糕🎂。经过上一次的煮鸡肉汤面，这次我们的客户已经开始逐渐喜欢上做饭了。世界上最美味的东西之一就是自己用心做的食物呀！

下午我们简单地练习了一次整理床铺，但是似乎还没有完全掌握，咱们一起期待下次的session可以掌握最省时省力的换被套技巧吧！！！

Yesterday, we had an awesome cooking session with the OT and one of our clients!

🍲 We’re all about helping clients boost their independent living skills. We believe that teaching someone how to do something is way more impactful than just doing it for them. Sure, we could make a bowl of chicken noodle soup in 15 minutes, but spending two hours doing it together and encouraging them to push their limits is what really makes a difference. It’s through these experiences that real growth happens. 💪✨
