Meet Daljit Kaur, Employee of the Month for September!
Daljit is one of our Senior Support team members, often stepping up as an Acting Accommodation Services Manager and her impact is felt every single day.
With two decades of experience across nursing, aged care, disability, and mental health, Daljit brings deep knowledge, calm confidence, and genuine compassion to the people she supports.
Her journey into healthcare began in nursing, later expanding into aged care and disability, where she earned qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Dementia, and a Diploma in Mental Health. Over the years, she’s built a career grounded in empathy, advocacy, and person-centred care.
Daljit joined Claro four years ago as a Support Worker and quickly grew into senior roles. Her strength lies in clear communication, empowering clients to make their own choices, and always standing up for what’s right.
She’s passionate about creating meaningful lives for clients — not just meeting their needs, but truly supporting their goals, independence, and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Daljit loves spending time with family and friends, hosting big gatherings, cooking, and tending to her garden. She finds joy in experimenting with new recipes and growing her own herbs.
When she thinks about the future, she dreams of travelling, mastering her gardening and cooking skills, and making even more beautiful memories with her loved ones.
